Perfect replacement or quick upgrade to an existing backup camera. Setup, pairing, and installation was simple. Only con to the entire setup is that wi-fi has to be enabled. But it is a wi-fi backup camera. Would be nice if it had both wi-fi and bluetooth. Picture quality is great and smooth, and can be used as a blindspot monitor while driving; which can be very helpful in high traffic situations. Yada app is small, but has a lot of features, but seems to not remember the camera it last attached to, and you have to authorize it each time, which will increase the time to activate and backup. But small price to pay for a convenient and self-powered backup camera. Highly recommend!

My husband was so excited to receive this. He will be using the camera on his 30 foot utility trailer. Nice weather proof adjustable back up camera in high definition. Has night vision so can be used in dark and low lighting settings. Battery operated camera with solar charging has a wide angle view with an easy to use app. The app is available in the Apple App Store or also Google play. Everything is included for installation, which was super easy.

I've wanted an after market backup camera for a while now but didn't want to spend too much. The Yada camera was the answer! It's a great value and was so easy to set up. I love that I can use it with my phone and so it doesn't take up any space on my dash. The picture is super clear and accurate and the connection flawless. The camera itself mounts near your car tag and is durable and weather resistant.

My suburban did not have any type of back up cam, so this was a perfect option for me. The Yada Adjustable Backup Cam works with Bluetooth and an app on your phone. Your phone will become your screen, while you back up. Mounting the camera is easy, because you use the same holes that your car tag uses. So really all you will need, is a Phillips head screwdriver. The cam does come with a rechargeable battery in it and IT's recommended that you fully charge it (Charging cord is included) first before installing. The camera does have a solar panel, which recharges the camera, once it is installed/attached to your vehicle. The app itself is easy to set up, it's easy to use and to make adjustments to the camera etc. the camera gives you a sharp Clear view of what's behind you. You can set the backup cam to turn off at various amounts of time, for up to 90 seconds. Before the cam, actually shuts off, your phone will ask you if you want additional time on, if so you just tap “ok” and it will stay in longer. It does not just automatically just stay on 24/7. So far, I have been very pleased with this backup cam. It makes me feel safer being able to have such a great rear view of what's behind me when backing up.

I just installed a YADA Adjustable Backup Camera on my truck. I had a wired one on it before and it went out after a couple of years. I thought I would try the wireless type. The YADA is solar powered so it takes absolutely no wiring. It works through my cell phone by blue tooth. I was kind of skeptical about it at first because I thought there may be some lag time going to my cell. There is no lag time it is actually live. I installed it in just a few minutes with six screws that were included. Then installed the App to my phone. It works great. It does take a few seconds and a couple of steps to open the app, but the video image looks good and you can turn the grid lines on or off. It works for 90 seconds and then asks you if you want it on for an additional 90 seconds. It shuts down by itself (The camera, you do have to close the app.) So far I am well pleased with it and would recommend this product.

This backup camera is fairly easy to get set up and to use. The app is easy to use and the picture shown is clear. Very helpful to install on an older car that does not have a backup camera on it. There are two options for installing it on the vehicle. The instructions are clear in what to do to get it installed. I also like that you can charge it by cable, but it also has a solar panel on so it can recharge that way as well so you don't have to take it off the vehicle often, if at all.

Positives. App is user friendly and simple. Camera connects relatively quickly to your phone. Camera has a usbc charging port. Lane lines are adjustable to fit the height of the camera. Solar panel helps maintain charge. Negatives. Have to open the app and connect every time you want to use the camera. Only takes about 10 seconds but requires planning ahead when you are ready to back. If solar wasn't able to maintain have to plug in camera to charge while on vehicle. Lane lines stay straight and do not curve when turning. Unit is pretty large and noticeable especially on small car. Need to have a phone mount to make this practical.

Had a difficult time to get the system to connect to phone. The connection steps were easy to follow but it just didnt want to connect for some reason. Once it was connected, the view was like much of the average cameras which are built in systems. Mounting it the tag was simple enough, just had to have the right tools to use. Probably wont use it regularly because the app will drain the phone battery. I will use it in places I am not familiar with and for safety.

So this product does work but it's really weird. It goes by 60 second increments where you have to refresh? I'd have to say the picture is clear and nice. And I have not used it as solar but I plugged it in the USB. The only unfortunate part is you have to pull out your phone every time you want to do the backup camera. Not sure if it's worth all the hassle.

This is not a great product. It was very easy to install the plate that holds the camera on. You could place it on the top or the bottom of the plate. We couldnt do the bottom as it'd interefere with the tow hitch, so we placed it at the top. Super easy! We downloaded the app, checked the position on the camera then installed the camera. It looked great when we initially turned the camera on. After getting it installed, we opened the app again and again trying to get the camera to open. Despite all troubleshooting and a factory reset on the camera, we could not get it to connect again. We tried so much! By the next day, we gave up. From what i could tell when we first used the camera, it looked great! Very clear with parking lines. I thought this was going to work out. I would not recommend this product. Its just too much to do just to back up. I cant imagine having to open this app, wait for it to load, wait for it to hopefully connect to the camera, and then back up. The app was too slow. Its not really for drivers who are impatient. If you got time to wait minutes before you back up, and are apparently more tech savvy than us, maybe this will work for you. Otherwise, its just not worth all the effort.
