great workout box, doubles as a seat too. would recommend for others looking to have a good utility box for workouts

this is a great product. came with all the hardware (plus extra screws). the material looks to be durable (it has a high weight rating). it fits well and tight when you put it all together. i would suggest using some good wood glue to extra strength.

The Pylo boxes are an excellent addition to my home gym for stretching. My trainer has taught me stretching techniques with them. First, I have to put them together which might be a challenge for a Senior citizen.

very sturdy, great for step ups and split squats

This box is very sturdy and just the right size. I don't know about doing box jumps on it unless you're small in stature. It's great for step-ups and bulgarians. I would definitely recommend having a drill available upon assembly.

This plyo box is pretty decent. I have had Yes4All boxes in the past, so I went in expecting the same thing considering it was the same size, but I guess I chose the wrong one, or the product was changed? I am not sure. The box itself is easy to assemble. It uses standard Phillips screws, so having a powered screwdriver/drill definitely speeds it up, because there are quite a few screws. The box is very sturdy, very solid, and I do firmly trust the weight limits on each side. Onto the negatives though. It is very slippery. For some reason, it is covered with a shiny slick surface, almost like a polished basketball floor. It isn't such a big deal, but I was surprised considering my old cube had a much nicer feel, almost like a flat sanded wood, so a bit more grip on my old box. The wood is also very rough and sharp on the edges, and even grabbing the handles is sharp and you can get a splinter, it just needs to be sanded or something. Overall, despite those complaints, it's a pretty decent very solid plyo box.

There are ZERO directions and the screws are all hex heads with NO pre drilled holes. There are support pieces but no idea how they fit together even though I consider myself a fairly smart person. They should have assembled this box at their factory and shipped it ready to use.
