Very pleased with our Dohm Classic sound machine. I love that it plugs into an outlet, so no worries of constantly buying batteries. My husband loves that it is a steady sound with no sound re-sets like many sound makers or white noise machines.

Does a really good job helping me ignore outside noise. I used to be kept awake by people playing the trombone or drums and that is no longer a problem!

Love my sound machine! Honestly can't sleep without it any more. A friend gave us our first one over 8 years ago and it went everywhere with us (we now have a travel size one too!). The original one started rattling so we immediately bought a new replacement before it quit completely. Highly recommend this product!

works great. It was slightly detached from the base in the package. Popped back together easily but I remain curious if it is a design flaw and hope it does not impact the product.

We bought this to replace a Honeywell fan we've used for sleep. The Dohm is pretty good but the sound is more high pitched than we hoped. If it's on high or the slots are open you can hear the whirring of the motor which for me is impossible to sleep with. We kept it for travel and emergencies but ultimately went with a sleep app that has green noise, more conducive to sleep, and a speaker in the bedroom.

Not as loud as the previous Dohm sound machine that I had. I thought they were the same. Returned 3 and finally found the exact model.

I've had a previous model of one of these for almost 10 years and it finally died after using every night. I bought this since it was most comparable to my existing one and I was extremely disappointed the minute I opened the box. The item was dirty, dust and fibers all over it, including in the grooves between the layers of pieces. The quality control was horrible, the edge of the plastic where the top meets the base is jagged, small chunks of plastic missing and there's an extra edging of the plastic that sticks out making it sharp and rough. And this was an expensive item compared with cheaper models that feel much sturdier. I'll be returning it. Unfortunately the only return option is FedEx pickup, it can't even be dropped at a FedEx store. The window is all day, no weekends, so I'll also be forced to take a day off work to get this returned.
