Yogasleep Dohm® Uno White Noise Sleep Sound Machine, White

We’ve had the original dohm for years and needed a second one, but we saw this new “uno” option for under $30. Having now used it, I can’t imagine ever paying close to $50 for the original dohm, since this item is basically the same thing. Both are great sound machines. The difference is that the uno only has one sound setting (vs 2 on the original), and the slider for quiet-to-loud controls both the sides and the top (vs two separate controls on the original). What this means is that you have less ability to customize the sound. But the difference is minimal at best- it’s just as loud as the original dohm, and it’s nearly as quiet. The slider gives plenty of flexibility in moving from quiet to loud, and I honestly can’t figure out why you’d ever buy the more expensive item.

I LOVE this machine! The sound helps me relax and sleep soundly. This is my second one, purchased for my children's room. It is so much better than machines with prerecorded sound. Choose from the sound of muted air flowing, to a much stronger flow. It is SO comforting.

I love this machine! It's got a simple job to do - a relaxing, consistent, white noise - and it does it well. No need to go back to using a regular fan again! Makes for comfortable background sound while sleeping, and sound level is easy to adjust.

I love it I can turn the volume up and down

Works well masking noise now that I am working from home full-time. Helpful that you can dial in the volume you want.

This is my second sound machine by this company. The first one lasted well over a year. This model only has one speed but you can twist the dome to muffle sound more. I prefer having more than one speed, but that said, it is still a good product.

The only drawback was that I thought it had multiple sounds, it only has one fan sound.

Not as loud as the previous Dohm sound machine that I had. I thought they were the same. Returned 3 and finally found the exact model.

The noise was more irritating than soothing - kind of "tinny" and shrill. My main concern though, was the unit heating up almost immediately and being very, very warm to the touch. I did not trust leaving it plugged in.
