Zatarain's Kosher Seasoned Fish Fri, 10.0 oz Bag

I used Zatarains fish fry to prepare some catfish. I did Season my fish before I coating it in the flour mixture. And I deep fried the fish. It was crunchy without being over battered and covered the fish in its entirety. I squeezed a little fresh lemon juice on it when it finished to bring out the flavors. It was delicious.

We loved the Zatarain's Fish Fri. We used tilapia as the fish and the seasoning in the coating was perfect. It fried up amazing and tasted wonderful. We have three little ones and they can be picky but they approved, that's a must have and will definitely purchase in the future!

I used Zatarain's Seasoned Fish Fri for frog legs, and they turned out incredible. Honestly, they were eaten so fast I didn't even get a picture before the plate was empty. I never deep fry food, as the process intimidates me and I've never gotten it right, but my family loves fried food, so this breading mix is a great way to get that deep fried flavor and texture from the oven without the mess and hassle. My whole family enjoyed this, with no complaints that it was too spicy. Zatarain's never disappoints!

Over all was easy enough to do. I typically like more grilled or sautéed chicken and shrimp, but the flavor of spices has a good heat level. We got a good crunch on many of the shrimp. It worked best for fish flavor better than chicken for me. We do chicken all the time so I was hopeful but just didn't seem like chicken. Like many pre mixed spices the salt is usually really to much this was alright. If you are someone who wants to bread their own fish this is a great option. We go more for concerned an and by most pre breaded. It more work then we have on a typically night. I have fully enjoyed it.

We received a box as a sample and it came at a perfect time as we had fish planned for dinner. This made the fish noce a crispy has a great taste. Had some shrimp and decided to try it on the shrimp as well and it was just as delicious to be honest. Will repurchase next time we are filling like fried fish.

I like trying out this product and I think it would be a perfect edition for anyone with dietary restrictions. I added this to my son's shrimp and he kept coming back for seconds and thirds. I also used it on my fish and it was the perfect consistency I was looking for. Not too heavy feeling. I did have to add a little more seasoning to it but that is okay!

I tried this product with a piece of halibut and I was surprised that it really didn't stick to it . The product was grainy and hotter then my liking. The flavor was great for someone who likes a hot 🔥 flavor so if you like it hot this is for you I gave it 3 stars out of 5 .
