Zatarain's Yellow Rice Mix, 6.9 oz Box

This rice with vegetables is so good. I made it as a side dish for dinner and everyone enjoyed it. The seasoning is savory and well balanced, not over salty. It's excellent as a standalone side dish or could be a great base for shrimp, chicken or your meat of choice. It's easy and quick to cook for busy people who don't have a lot of time to prepare meals. I enjoyed this very much and will be purchasing for future meals.

Thank you Zataran's for the sample! I'm not typically a fan of boxed rices. I prefer to make them myself. But this was a quick and easy alternative that was super tasty! The rice was so flavorful but not overly salty like so many boxed rices are. It's definitely something I will be using in the future!

(Thanks to Zatarain's for a free sample as part of BzzAgent sampling campaign) I am not a big user of mixes like this in general, preferring to cook myself, but I was given it to test and it was quite fine. Instructions are clear and preparing the rice was easy. It's not instant but I think the time is reasonable. The resulting fish had nice consistency, quite pleasant aroma with real spices showing, and tasted rather natural. Went really well with some sausage I had grilled. It tasted of real rice and spices. I think it could have been better with less salt though. Much less salt. This is not going to replace the rice (or any other side) I would cook myself when I have time for it. But I would consider it for my rotation of "I don't have time to cook" emergency supplies. It's easy to prepare, tastes fine, and should be OK for occasional use. Would have been even better if it had less salt in it though.

Zatarain's Yellow Rice is flavorful, easy to make, and comes out perfectly seasoned every time. The rice has a nice texture and pairs well with chicken, sausage, or seafood for a quick meal. I like how convenient it is when I need a side dish without a lot of prep. It's a reliable pantry staple that adds great taste to any meal.

This rice was flavorful and paired well with my baby back ribs I made for Memorial Day. I was surprised how flavorful the rice was as I usually have to add additional seasoning to other brands of Yellow Rice. It was so good, my daughter who usually dislikes Yellow Rice ate most of the pot.

We really liked how easy it was to prepare the yellow rice. It took a little longer than we would have preferred with our family schedules, but it was managable when we planned better for it. The rice was a perfect texture and tasted great in burrito bowls for the whole family!

Great go to Zatarains Yellow Rice. Enjoy on its own. Absolutely delish with Zatarains sausage, unfortunately not available anymore. Black Beans, Red Beans, Shrimp...on and on. The spice stands out after couple bites. Enjoy!

This was very easy to cook. All you had to do was add water. The rice was full of flavor. After cooking for 25 minutes, I felt like the rice came out the perfect texture. It paired great with my chicken.

This rice was flavorful. We enjoyed it with some grilled chicken. The claim of made with real vegetables is disappointing. There were a couple bits of pepper but they were pretty sad. The rice was easy to make. Overall we enjoyed and would make again.
