Great value. I've been a serious sports fisherman for over 40 years. This is a very versatile reel. Can easily handle any fresh or saltwater fish. Easy drag adjustment even when battling a hooked fish. Has a very comfortable feel to it. Super design and performance.

This reel is excellent, of course being brand new it should be excellent I just hope it stands up to the test of time. Made for freshwater and saltwater and handles a lot of line. It came with 20 lb test monofilament and with the drag adjusted properly, I shouldn't have any problem bringing in a 50 pounder maybe even 60. I'll see if I can catch some bridge monsters. Good luck to me on that.

Zeppo is the one for me
I love this real and having lots of fun with it and I always fish with Zepco rods in reels all my life even when I was a kid I would not fish with anything else like I said I love it thank you

808 Failure
The drag would not tighten, and ill be taking it back for a refund. Other than that everything was perfect. And yes I would recommend walmart and the Zebco 808 reel.

Tried it out. It's bigger than I thought and the 20 lb. line is heavier, too. But I caught 3 good size trout with it and it worked flawlessly.
