The Zen table is not only visually appealing but also an incredibly functional and versatile workstation for an artist. The drawing surface is large enough for a good range of paper sizes, depending on what you're drawing on. The storage compartments and extendable side table are enough for all the necessary pens, pencils, etc. for immediate drawing needs. The assembly was fairly simple and straightforward and is a very solid drawing/drafting table once assembled. While there are many types and manufacturers of drawing tables, I got exactly what I need to draw on a sturdy and comfortable platform at a great price. As my apartment is also my artistic studio, which is a one bedroom on the tight and compact size, its footprint is perfect for my space and my needs. All things considered, while picking the drawing table I ultimately purchased took a week at least reviewing all the available options, I couldn't be happier with the decision. Very comfortable for art! My back doesn't hurt anymore which is the best, I love the storage space below and on the table to put all my drawing paper and pencils!

easy to put together and very sturdy... definitely worth the money

I am using desk for my art in a smaller area. I like that the table rises for my oils to be more accessible and the side table adds extra space. The down side is the two drawers are not stable. I fixed them by cutting and laying foam board in the bottom and then weighting the back to keep it in place. The right side where pencil and other items can be put would be great if when the table, when it is raised, they would not raise with tabletop or would balance as the cup holder does. I do like the table over all with just a few minor adjustments on my part.

This looked durable until you actually go to use the little storage containers in the bottom part. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas, haven't even had it up and week and the bottom small bar holding up the storage bin has already completely broke and is unusable . So no I do not recommend because this was such a hassle to put together I will not be taking the time to completely take it apart and return it. Waste of money and time
