My tap water was 700 ppm, with fridge filter it was 300 ppm, with this it was 0.13 ppm! Definitely works and the water tastes great. Slim design fits easily in the fridge or on the counter.
Water should not have a "taste". If your water does have a "taste" you need a Zero water filter system. Ours lives in the fridge and I have full bottles of water and Soda Stream in the doors. O keep it topped up and my bedside 40 oz dual wall glug bottle with ice is zero water. It comes with the testing gauge so you can see when to change the filter. My under sink 3 stage filter shows 125 dissolved solids. The regular faucet is around 150. I use the filtered water through the Zero filter and get ----- taaa daaa!!!! ZERO Guests have commented how good the water is we serve, and no plastic bottle smell.
So far I love it. It depends on how long the very expensive filter lasts. I was told that it would last 6 months but that really depends on the quality of the water you are filtering. At $32 each, I can’t afford to change it on a monthly basis. Will recommend it for now. May change review depending on filter life.
I'm on my second one. the first lasted about a year and a half and only had to replace the tank because it fell off the counter and broke. The filters usually last our family of 5 and ice maker about 10-14 days depending on weather. The filters are expensive but the water taste so clean and it's still cheaper than having water delivered.
So far the pitcher and filter seem fine. It's too early to really tell how well it works/for how long the filter lasts. But what really bothers me is that the tester that comes with it doesn't fit in the little holder on the spout. It's too big. I can kind of try to squeeze it in there but if I push it too far it's definitely going to break. That's pretty inconvenient.
I recently purchased this item and while I found with the TSP tester that water from my tap was really not that bad coming in at a 43, it absolutely cleared it to a zero. My problem is with the amount of water that you can actually run through the filter. The filtering process is a rather slow and drawn out process and from what I've read filters don't last that long, I will have to find out for sure on that, thus a 3 star from me.
My husband and I have been using this pitcher for almost 2 years now. At first we loved it. It made our lives of buying and lugging home multiple bottles of water from the grocery store much easier and didn't waste so much plastic. After two years, we've noticed a steep decline in the quality of the water filters. The filters used to last approximately 3 months. In 2020, they only lasted about 1.5 months. Now the filters only last about 3 weeks even though our tap water readings are consistent and haven't changed in that time. We contacted the Zero Water company on two occasions and were told this is highly unusual given our water readings and usage. The company sent us 4, then 2 replacement filters and asked us to follow-up regarding their lifespan. These filters only lasted 3 weeks as well. We suspect based on what the customer service representative said that the company made changes regarding the factory that manufactures the filters and this is the reason for the steep decline in quality. 3 weeks is completely unacceptable for the life of a $10-15 water filter, so we are currently discontinuing use and looking into other options for water filtration.
I ordered it online. It came with a wrong part. I sent it back for replacement but ended up cancelling and requesting a refund. Thats been over a month ago, several hours on phone with the worst customer service ever! I i I spoke to at least 10 people and supervisors promising my refund in form of gift card and continue to lie and lie and lie. Have not received anything in any form. So should I just give up wasting valuable time sometimes over 1hr. Not fair Walmart. Need to follow up your promises...
I have a hard time with this review but ultimately I have to give it a 1. The product works as advertised, shows zero particles in the water and tastes good. However, if you live an area with heavy contaminants you will be replacing the filter every 4 days. You also can't go off their estimates of states as we live in one of their "better" states. I don't know where they tested it, because our particles were in the 500-700 range depending on the day. It is clearly cheaper, even when factoring in gas money, to buy refillable 5 gallon jugs than it is to replace filters twice a week at 15 dollars per filter.
I bought this as I really liked the idea of having a larger filtering "pitcher" in the fridge. I only used this for 2 refills before I sent it to the trash. The filter was constantly getting "air-locked" so that no water was passing through. This meant it took about 24 hours in order to fill the tank. I did follow the manufacturer recommendations to resolve the problem, but there isn't a good way to remove the filter without making an absolute mess or getting unfiltered water into the tank with the filtered water.
