This bed was easy to assemble and is sturdy! It looks great and is built to last. The bed is a bit low to the ground but wouldn't be noticeable if you use a box spring under the mattress.

This is a great frame for the price and looks beautiful. Yes it is super low to the ground, be aware of that. I have a 13 inch high mattress due to a 4 inch topper and it still fit the frame well. My major issue is assembly. The instructions are terrible. It says to connect parts labeled with LETTERS. Well guess what, they aren't labeled!! They are only labeled with NUMBERS! This will make more sense when you see the instructions. So you have to stare at the instructions and say, well this looks like part A to me! I had one slat that was assembled wrong, so it has one end that connects right and another end that is upside-down so it doesn't go in the slot fully. I can still use the bed, it just sticks up a bit in that area. The included tool was super helpful and made assembly easier. I did get what I paid for in terms of the assembly but considering this is a big/popular name they could have done better.

Was looking for an affordable frame with a headboard. Slats were annoying, some seemed too short to fit, but once i loosened ALL the frame bolts, they all eventually fit. Lower to the ground than I expected but actually looks kinda mcm with a 12 inch mattress. will see how it holds up in a STR!

It's more fun with two putting it together But you will need a bunkie board under the mattress To help keep the mattress sagging through the slats To help protect the mattress Or just a piece of plywood will work too

The bed is nice and sturdy but it was not easy to put together like in the video. Overall I recommend it but plan on dedicating patience, time, and attention to detail for assembly.

Very difficult to assemble and lots of parts. Unless you are a handyman I would suggest purchasing the professional assembly at check out. The box was also missing a bed post, which basically means it's useless. You have to contact the manufacturer, go through their AI support, fill out a form on line with receipts, etc. I have no idea when/if the part will arrive. I would not purchase from this company again.

I would not recommend this bed frame. The slats do not stay in place and never fit correctly since purchase. Many have fallen down on the floor only one side of the bed can be used due to slats not fitting or staying in place. . Does have a nice appearance. But cheap and slats were not fitting into groves. This is a piece of trash.

One leg piece was missing. Overall good product. The frame and metal looked sturdy and good quality. Instructions were clear as well. Just because of one missing piece the whole project got affected. Otherwise I have enjoyed Zinus products in the past.

1) missing items for assembly 2) customer service refused to replace items missing 3) refund and return was not approved This is a cheap and affordable item, but the risk isn't worth it if you solely depend on cheap and affordable items. Save and buy something sourced and made locally or spare parts (missing items) are actually abundant.
