All protective cool-down items ar ok in my book. Overheating in gaming would suck to have a time limit. I've had mine for a year or so and its doing a great job.

Bought this for my gamer son works amazingly well keeps his ps5 from overheating fan works well and charges his controllers and other electronics as he's gaming would definitely recommend

I brought this for my husband and the setup was easy and he enjoys how it keeps his stuff organized. However, I am confused why a media remote is shown in the picture which seems to be special to this item. However, I did not get one I the box. It seems to be a special spot for it and is in all the pictures so I would assume it came with.

Very hard to seat the controllers in the charger. It only charges the controllers when the console is on so how am I going to play with a charged up controller if it only charges when on? The instructions show that my Playstation 5 slim should not need the adapter plate and thats not correct. My console doesn't fit properly over the air cooler and now I can't find the adapter plate because I definitely need it. Now since I waited so long, I have to purchase another one but it'll definitely be from somewhere else.
