Potted Meat reminds me of when I was a child, we would have little parties in school and we would have potted meat sandwiches, they were so good. So, if anyone want a great snack mix it with sandwich spread, make a sandwich or eat it with crackers!!!!!
I bought this Great Value Potted Meat to get heart medicine in my dog three times a day. He loves this so much, he about inhales it. He knows about the time he's supposed to have his pills and will not let me forget. I suppose it's for crackers, but I've only used it for my dogs and they all love it. Lots of times they won't take medicine and Velveeta or peanut butter doesn't help because its sticky and they have to chew it. But this is moist and smells like bologna. They swallow it right down no fuss.
I use it on Saltines. I had not had this in a while, and my sister was talking about it. So, I got some, and it was exactly as I remembered it. It is a spicy and tart blended meat product. I didn't look too closely at the ingredients because one of my other sisters told me when I was much younger, that it had chicken lips in it. Do chickens even have lips? Any hoo, I am still eating it. :-)
Well, it's potted meat. It's as expected, spreadable, not too salty and tastes good. Definitely a quaint sized recyclable tiny can. It's time to stock a few in the cupboard, especially at this price, I like taking this on camping trips along with Great Value buttery round and saltine crackers. I pair them with green grapes. 🤷🏻♀️
my whole family was/is raised on potted meat. Sometimes, I just want a great snacky Sammich! All my Siblings ALWAYS have this in their Pantry. My kids eat it too! They're grown. Makes a great emergency food and traveling picnic snack, too. It's just a family Tradition. TY Walmart
Its affordable single serve potted meat...if you are looking for something with exquisite taste and an appetizing appearance...youre in the wrong place. It tastes just like it did when I was a kid and looks just as...good. Its good for a quick meal; toast and butter some bread, a slice of american cheese, and pop open this can and spread it and you got a deluxe potted meat sandwich, perfectly fit for the budget minded midwesterner.
If you like potted meat this store brand is a mildly cheaper but just as good quality as the major brand name. I think it is about 10-15% more expensive than it should be as a store brand especially in the face of shrinkflation voodoo sham economics these big box food factories churn out. Value wise you get enough product to make 2 decent sandwiches or with a snack with crackers out of 1 can. (*with an added tsp of mayo/MW forme).
I gave it two stars all the way down the line. it isn't what I ordered first of all I wanted deviled ham if you good ones or deviled him armor is satisfactory but nowhere near near devil inn Cumberland is too expensive so we're forced to to buy armor potted meat. so what did we get stuck with? Walmart's brand of potted meat I ordered eight of them I believe 8:00 to 10:00 I got three Walmart potted meats. I'm not really happening about the substitution but the substitution to the substitution that ticks me off
This is a good product. I have no problem with it. The problem is Walmart shipping. I never received it and tried to get it replaced but it was a waste of time. I was charged for it but never got it. I deleted my Walmart account because I have had several other problems with missed items and delayed shipping.
Unfortunately i cant give an accurate review on this items because it wasnt delivered and for some unknown reason the driver decided to go through my bags claiming that my groceries were bag together with another customer's order. Therefore she had to separate the orders before giving me mine. Its my understand that the groceries are shopped and bagged by Walmart employees not the drivers or am I wrong? So why would a driver be going through the bags of groceries? This was something my grands were looking forward to having.
