Made my homemade Poke Bowls for my son and I absolutely delicious!! I recently learned of this sauce and it definitely lived up to my standards. A great addition to not only poke bowls, yes indeed, it tastes great on my spicy noodles also!! Oh…I don't want to forget this one…. I even added it to a marinade for chicken. I will be buying this one again…before I run out
This is probably my new favorite soy sauce. Yes, that's basically all it is, soy sauce with a kick, and it's perfect. If you like a little sweet and heat along with savory, you'll like this stuff. The other people in the reviews crying about the heat probably don't handle black pepper very well either, just something to keep in mind.
new to poke sauce..very very good taste like Chinese sauce and better than most Chinese sauces store bought..says it goes best with tuna but i made with fish and shrimp, rice veggies..so good..will be good on any chicken or meat also ..it taste close to magnolia beef sauce..
I really like this. It works like a seasoned soy sauce as a marinade. Hint of ginger and chili flakes and sweetened. Not as sweet as some teriyaki. I was curious to try it and will buy again
If you like the taste of Ponzu Fresh from any Hawaiian poke bowl, you will love the flavor of this product! It's great to add to your sauce collection. Goes great as a steak marinade as well.
The product arrived on time and was packaged nicely without any breakage. It is so easy to use and tastes just like Poke made back at home in Hawaii. I definitely will be buying more! Now, if only Walmart could carry Aloha Shoyu's Soy sauces and teriyaki sauce, it would be my one-stop shop!
Nice flavor for adding to almost anything. Good for soups, sauces, marinades, any meat. Has a hint of heat but nothing too spicy
Hawaii in a bottle. Sweet and spicy. Great product.
It's good quality, rich and spicy, not too sweet. It has enough chili in it to give it a "hot sauce" tang comparable to buffalo wing sauce. I give it four stars, not five, just because my idea of a poke bowl isn't that 'chili-fied.' Straight it's a bit much for me so I cut it 50/50 with teriyaki sauce and the result is about as good as you're gonna get.
Didn't order. Ordered something for Thai recipes and received this bc apparently the shopper couldn't read. Was fine on chicken breasts.
