(2 pack) Better Homes & Gardens Ribbed 15 oz Double Wall Glass Mug with Handle

Very pretty, classy looking, and I'm thinking I might need to add a couple more. I really like having a handle on my glass. All the other glasses that I have are just a straight glass no handle so I really prefer this one in that respect. Also very glad I found these when I was scoping things out. Online at Walmart.

First of all what I noticed was that it's lightweight second , what I noticed was in the microwave the handle does not get hot the outside of the mug only is warm but the liquid inside gets extremely hot very fast I love this mug this will be my Christmas gift to other people this year and probably in the future

After getting chips on the lip of my coffee cups, I looked for something in glass that was more durable. I decided to try the Better Homes %26 Garden mug in borosilicate glass. These are just what I was looking for. They are lighter weight as well which is very good when full of coffee. I liked them so well that I have bought two more sets.

These are fun mugs with double walls which help keep cold things cold or warm things warm. They look very nice, and a little nostalgic from the soda shop days maybe. The size is larger than a typical mug but not the gigantic crazy sizes of so many drinking vessels lately. I love them and the price for the pair was really great.

My coffee stays hotter longer and even though it's glass it is lighter than most. I have them on the counter because they look nice. The size is perfect for me. I accidentally tipped it over and it didn't break, crack or anything. (Unlike other similar glasses.)

The light weight of these 15 ounce mugs is what a person with arthritis in hands and wrists needs - and I have those types of arthritis! It wasn't easy getting the stickers off of them but they are beautiful %26 large enough to hold the amount of coffee I need in mornings. Borosilicate glass is a durable, heat-resistant, %26 chemically inert material made from silica %26 boron trioxide %26 is characterized by its exceptionally low thermal expansion coefficient, allowing it to withstand extreme temperature changes without breaking. Double wall insulated mug keeps drinks hot for longer %26 is dishwasher, microwave, oven, %26 freezer safe (up to 350°F). I will handle these carefully %26 hope they hold up in the dishwasher. It says drinks will stay hot longer %26 cool longer and hope this happens. I would recommend these to an older person as a gift or to newlyweds as a gift.

These are nice mugs. I appreciate that they're borosilicate glass, so there's no worry about unwanted substances that could be present in ceramic glaze. They're attractive, more contemporary looking. It's not really my style, but at this price point I really wanted to try them out. A nice feature is that the outside of the mug is never hot, just comfortably warm. Be aware that they will only reasonably hold 12-13 ounces of liquid max, although they're advertised as 15 ounce mugs. I tried out this claim and discovered that a carefully measured 15 ounces absolutely rims the mug to the point of spilling over if one more drop is added! This claim really needs to be revised in the product description.

I have the same Borum glasses but mine are 6” tall so I need glasses to match. Even though when I ordered Borum glasses from you and I checked NO SUBSTITUTIONS you substituted the smaller glasses %26 to make matters worse the delivery person plopped the glasses down on my cement front porch. The glasses were not wrapped nor were they boxed, just put in a WalMart bag so of course one was broken. WHEN i returned the glasses I was told the $9 delivery fee %26 the $4 tip were not refundable! If you once more get the 6” tall, 15 oz glasses I will be happy to purchase them but will NOT have them delivered.

No packaging was used with these two glasses so both arrived broken and glass got on my floor and on my hand. I'm complaing about the person who put these glasses into the box unwrapped. This is a safety issue, and I'm documenting it in case my hand suffers from the glass I can't remove.

These double wall mugs look great but feel more like plastic than anticipated and are very fragile. Both mugs fractured within two uses each. Maybe they aren't truly meant for hot beverages? The first one cracked when set in the sink to wash. The second one shattered - sending glass shards everywhere - simply setting it down on a stone coaster. What a mess! I'm so glad I didn't order more of them.
