Gold color came out. That was what I wanted. It was hard to wait to let it dry out. Give yourself time to make sure it is very very dry before handling. I had to re-spray a few times. The spray is very blasting, so for the details, I ended up spraying in a pile and using a toothpick to “paint” the spray on the cake surfaces. It would probably work better for covering an entire surface than details.

It does what it is supposed to do and covers well, but the color does not dry (even 24 hours later). So if you need to touch the area you colored once completed, you'll be repeatedly covered in black/purple marks for the next day and until after multiple hand washings.

I love the product but it had been already used by someone else when I received the spray. It must have been returned to a store and put back on the shelf

It cos very easily and quits working. If you are using the whole can in one continous spray its be great. We were using with 15 minutes in between and after 2nd spray it no longer worked. Waste of money

I was planning on using this to decorate cookies but I was only able to get 3/4 of a cookie sprayed before it stopped working. I tried multiple ways to get it working again and none worked.

I read all the reviews, and used this spray with the utmost preparedness. I haven’t tasted it yet, and I feel slightly bad for the bad review bc it covered the cake beautifully, but this product has ruined my week. I laid out a huge covered area and took what i believed to be plenty of precautions to prevent over-spray, and yet somehow there’s blue speckles on every inch of my kitchen. You don’t see them at first, until you notice you’re leaving a trail of blue footprints through the house. I’ve been scrubbing blue stains for so long my knuckles are bleeding. In my picture you can see the blue streaks from my initial attempts at wiping over-spray that was several feet away. It wasn’t worth it.

Trust the reviews. It gave us 3 sprays and then just quit spraying/coming out. so we have a very light gold/white ring cake for our son's birthday. We are very rural and can't get anything to replace it so I just have to do it as is. He is disappointed.

Do not use this unless you plan on turning everything in the area black. I've used other colors and none of them have been so messy like this, it literally turned my counter pink when I tried to clean it off.

I purchased this to make “gold coin Oreos”. Purchased 2 just in case because sometimes spray cans can get weird. The first one started great, but stopped spraying after 30 seconds. I tried to hot water rinse the top and everything, nothing I tried got it running again. The second one didn’t even give me that long before it stopped working. They say they will cover 8 dozen cupcakes each, and I couldn’t even get 2 dozen Oreos (laid out together) coated all the way on one side. I don’t think they were empty at all, just that the spray mechanism is crazy faulty. What shine there was really popped, but overall, major disappointment!

So first off, the color is great. However, the spray worked for literally two seconds then it stopped working completely. I followed the steps on the can regarding how to unclog it, how to hold it, etc and nothing worked. So it ended up being a total waste of $5. Maybe my can was a fluke, idk. But I won't be purchasing it again.
