I know this probably uses colors that the FDA has banned and that is a real shame for me. My use cases are quite different from the typical shopper as I am a former science teacher and the gel dyes that have become much more common never work the same in experiments and while I will probably be able to buy the dyes from chemical suppliers there is a huge convenience factor for just having them in the grocery store. The main point is that you COULD eat it if you don't wash your hands perfectly. My other application is in visualizing the water level more easily in a cooking appliance of mine so again it needs to be reasonably safe around food but I am not worried about any possible side effects.
I recently purchased this product and I'm really impressed with the quality. It works exactly as described and even exceeded my expectations. The design is well thought out, easy to use, and feels durable. I've been using it regularly and haven't had any issues so far. Definitely a great value for the price, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for something reliable and effective.
I bought these great value dye kits as a filler for my grand nephews for Easter. Baskets. I will not be opening these little dye kits as they’re meant for the individual families to have the chance spend time with their little guys. Family time is precious and these kits remind me of my own childhood; time spent with my mom and dad and siblings. Thanks for making these kids affordable for multiple people.
Used for coloring Easter eggs. I always used the "McCormick" brand but have had trouble finding it in my area. Found these "Great Value" brand, so I gave it a try. The colors are vibrant, easy to use and the eggs looked great. Just as good as the McCormick brand and a really good price as well.
It says food safe. Does contain dye. Primary colors. Individual and reusable containers. Shelf stable. Multiple uses from foods to crafting. Easy to use. Shake lightly or roll between your hands, open and apply drops to liquid or mixture and mix.
Great color coverage with no bleed after drying. Easy for beginners to color or dye items. True color when making icing. I also dyed noodles for crafts. Most were true colors when used individually. Blue made purple. Yellow %26 blue made an awesome shade of green on pasta without ridges. On the pasta with ridges, yellow and blue made a shade between olive and army. It worked out great because there were multiple colors. I'll wait until Easter to see how it will mix with vinegar to dye eggs.
I buy these things because they’re the only liquid stuff that Walmart sells and I’m only looking for green to turn my beer green for St. Patrick’s Day. It requires one or two drops per beer at the bottom of the glass before you pour your beer.
Bought it cause I need the yellow color- well it looks more like orange. And it defeated the whole purpose of me getting the food coloring in the first place
I bought this food coloring from Walmart and didn't realize until I got home that it expired 6 months ago. I'm only using it to make playdough, but it's still disappointing to receive an expired product. Always check the dates before buying!
missing the color I needed the most. There’s no way I payed for this just for a color to be missing get your stuff together Walmart.
