I only buy these when they're on sale otherwise they're not worth it. $1.49 for 4 good price I'll buy them all the time at this price. I'm not a fan of the no sugar added because that's artificial sweetener that they add to it instead but the ones in 100% juice they're fantastic. single serving perfect size for all ages. and if you save the cups they turn into dipping cups.
Love these. Am a fan of Dole fruits. These have larger chunks of pears than other brands and the cup is filled up more to the top as well. Recently heard that pears are a very good fruit to eat for many health reasons and I found this brand to be best. Can have as a great snack, dessert or anytime.
Watch the labels closely. Dole products that say "No sugar added" often contain artificial sweeteners. Look for the products labeled "in 100% juice." These do not appear to have added high fructose corn syrup or artificial sweeteners. All sweetening comes from 100% juice.
Yumm!! I love these pears! The taste is sweet and so delicious! They remind me of my childhood and my grandma’s home canned Bartlett Pears. Except these are cut up into little bite size chunks… So good!😋
I used to think I didn't like pears. I bought the Dole pear Fruit cups because I wanted something different than what was in the produce aisle to have for lunch at work and I also didn't want something I would have to eat in a hurry before it spoiled. I picked the pears. I was careful to make sure they were not packed in syrup. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and consistency of the pears. Not too sweet and not mushy. So I kept buying them for my lunch bag. I still buy them I was so surprised that I liked them that I branched out to buying fresh pears for the fruit bowl at home. There is one thing to be careful about with the fruit bowls: try as I might they squirt juice straight at me when the vacuum seal is broken. Turn the bowl around to open it away from you when you open it. I saw this happen to a 5th grader. He was embarrassed and as I helped him and cleaned away the mess, I told him, "it happens to me all the time."
The problem with buying these cups is that some of the pieces are over-ripe and many are not ripe at all. If that doesn't bother you, this is your gig. Juice is great, not any sugar in it.
Tasty and a fair snack. The juice was fine. However, the pears were very hard. This made the whole experience a disappointment for me. I’d much rather have my (softer!) usual pear halves by any major brand , but they were unavailable.
One of the 4packs was punctured open and leaking. This was one of the substituted items. According to the app, I had to pay the higher price for name brand item available. I paid more for a damaged item.
It tastes fermented. This is the second item that I have purchased from you, that I have refrigerated and then when to eat or drink just for it to taste fermented.
These "pears" don't even deserve one star. Are these even pears??? There is NO flavor. They are just gross. Very crunchy. Who wants crunchy pears? I can say with 100% certainty, I will never purchase these again.
