Spicy %26 Sweet
The image shows Hot Spicy Topokki, but the description is accurate. Dong Won Spicy and Sweet Topokki is both very spicy and sweet. The rice cakes are both soft and chewy. It is very quick and easy to prepare. It is more affordable from Walmart than other online sources. I wish the Hot Spicy variety was available, too.

Chewy Rice Tubes
After trying this I've found they are trendy? Idk but I do know they slap. Super easy microwave directions, vegetarian, mild to moderate spicy sauce with chewy rice tubes

If buldak is too spicy for you but you still want to try tteobokki this one is a perfect alternative. The taste is great and the rice cake is very chewy and tender when cooked for the appropriate amount of time.

Its super good and chewy. The flavor is amazing and if you add a little bit of cheese it just makes the flavor even more amazing

an amazing depth of flavor for an instant meal
I got a slightly different "Spicy and Sweet Topokki" than the one I see pictured. The depth of flavor of the sweet and spicy is some of the best depth I've experienced, ever in a precooked meal. Could use more topokki as a more fulfilling meal and that's my only knock off of the stars. Definitely have something else to go with and in it. I can't recommend this enough. So good.

I didn't end up getting it unfortunately, it was left out of my order at the time, but I do love tteopoki normally so I'm sure it was amazing

did not taste good.
it was easy to prepare but the taste was awful. I looked at the ingredients but it only listed the spices as just that, spices. It had a flavor of oregano or something. not something that should of been in this. I will stick to my old brand of topokki

Chewiest Thing Ever
I had been wanting to try topokki/tteokbokki for a while and with no Korean restaurants or Asian markets in my area, I came searching here. Price was reasonable and I was instantly sold on the brand name. Upon inspection, I realized it was already 2 months from the expiration date when I received my order. Buuut, it was my birthdate so maybe it was meant to be. I liked the sauce but unfortunately, I just couldn't get past the texture of the rice cakes. I don't think there was anything wrong with th3em, it's a me thing. It was a weird chewy consistency - like when melted cheese gets cold and you're just chewing and chewing and it's not getting any better.
