A Place to Depend on for Necessary OTC Medications

Lavon November 2, 2025

I had a Bacterial illness in 2003 that put me in the hospital for 23 days. The bacteria caused a huge amount of scarring and adhesions to my inner organs, including my Colon and therefore I cannot have a normal bowel movement and I have tried many Stool Softeners and Laxatives and most either do not work for days or I had very painful cramping prior to having any bowel movement. My Gastroenterologist recommended a Gentle Laxative Bisacodyl USP, 5mg a Stimulant Laxative. I did have to try different amounts, starting with one tablet and gradually increasing one at a time to find that I needed three every other day. I have had a successful movement since I found the right medicine and the right amount. Walmart was the only local store that carried the recommended medication. I have lots of Ulcers from that Bacterial Infection, and GERD, but this medication didn't have any effect on these problems. I depend on Walmart for all of my OTC needs.

These used to cost less than a dollar not but a few years ago. Shame there's capitalism on bowels. These work though! I take 4 before bed and by morning before I've even finished my coffee they do their job. A few times throughout the day you'll want to be close to a bathroom. As someone who's body decided it doesn't know how to function correctly, I definitely recommend.

The best laxative

Lydia January 27, 2026

Once a month or so, I want to clean myself out, so I take three at once. Three hours later (SpongeBob voice)…EXPLOSIVE, every time. Be sure to stay home for about 8 hours or so, because the bombs come every few hours until you’re practically empty. It would probably be gentler if I only took one or two, but it does what I want it to do with three.

Gentle, reliable relief that works

Sidebottom March 22, 2026

I’ve used this for a few months now and it’s become my go‑to when I need something gentle but effective. The pills are very tiny and easy to take. It helped clear out the congestion in my system without making me feel drowsy or shaky afterwards, which is a big deal for me. The only tell was a slight tickle at first, but it went away quickly and I didn’t feel sick or groggy or have any heartburn to deal with afterward. I also like how it seemed to handle my digestion without throwing my gut flora out of whack, especially compared to some other constipation products that have left me feeling worse. It’s easy to take, works as directed, and I’ve had no issues so far. Overall, it’s a solid product at a great price to keep on hand when you need something reliable.

Works Like German Clocks

Anonymous May 2, 2026

I like that these are tiny and don't dissolve in the mouth (like the old pink ones). They are gentle and effective. For me, I need to take them around 5pm for morning relief. They act like clockwork versus other brands. I am on a keto/carnivore diet, so movement is slow, but these help as needed.

please do not increase the prices it seems when you like something for me I'm going to fix the income I'm elderly and on a lot of meds and the price increase only makes it impossible for me to get the situation that's why I went to Walmart Pharmacy because they are consistent please do not raise a price just because something is popular

Wonderful and it works!

sara November 25, 2025

Hello! I understand most people don’t like buying the store brand because they believe it’s made cheaper additives. I never write reviews and I hate writing them, but this product works, and I would recommend it to anyone who’s having issues going to the bathroom. Try it out that’s all I can say.

It definitely helps

Laci September 14, 2025

Great for what it is, only gave it 4 stars because it's recommended you take 1-3 pills. DO NOT TAKE MORE THAN 1 AT A TIME. It will give you liquid diarrhea. The pills are deceptively small :') I took 2 and was fighting for my life

Terrible painful cramps

teresa May 2, 2026

Never again! I took two and Im throwing the rest away! This caused so much pain (this coming from a three time natural childbirth hero!) I couldn't believe what a dumb choice I had made for a gentle laxative. This is NOT gentle. Unless you want to have one of the worst days of your life, pick something different. Anything that reads “stimulating laxative” (the active ingredient bisacodyl) apparently does this. Who knew? Live and learn. (Oh, did it work? Well if pooping like a firehouse is pointed at your toilet for a full day counts, then yes, it worked.)
