I do love that these are citrate and not carbonate. But in my opinion, I don't view them as petite; but perspective is everything because some people may consider them to be petite and I understand. With these supplements they advise to take 2 of them twice daily so you are taking 4 total unless you choose to do less. I haven't been taking them for very long but intending to do an update later on on how it's working for me ; Im taking them to strengthen my bones and for the vitamin D !!! I think it's worth the try for the price and even though they are not petite , they are somewhat easy to swallow , one at a time , with lots of water ! I prefer to take with food or a good snack!! I've been taking these calcium supplements regularly, and they've made a real difference. My calcium lab numbers have improved and are now in the normal range! Equate Calcium Citrate petite tablets are not as petite (as the word states) but regular size to me. Still, they are fine to swallow. These supplements are great if you need the calcium for your bones that is necessary. Buying in larger quantities help save on money too.

Met Dr.'s recommendation and was an inexpensive way to keep Calcium and Vitamin D in the normal range. Used as part of my health regimen as I age. Works great on growing healthy Tomatoes when used with six other boosters. No joke here.

just recently started them. they eere recommeded because of my osteoporosis, and osteoarthritis. And gentle to my kidneys and liver. which is important to me, because i deal with kidney stones

I have weak bones. I already broke my back so I need to take this to help my bones get stronger love it doesn't make me sick very well and soft on your belly. I would recommend this to anyone. It's a great product.

Bought because calcium citrate is preferable to carbonate. Saw the label stating "petites" and figured that was a reason for the best seller designation. I was purchasing either way, but if the tablets are petite, I'd hate to swallow the full size version!

it recommends two tablets as a serving, which only gives you 400 MG. Period I need 600 MG so that means I have to take three pills to get my required amount. So to me it's expensive. I should've read the back of the bottle more thoroughly before I purchased it. The one thing I do like about it is the size so much easier to swallow, but not affordable to me.

Ok these are NOT “petite” at all. They might be smaller than the HUGE ones people are commenting about but these are not at all petites! However, even though they are big, they seem to be easy to swallow. I know that sounds crazy but hear me out….I've gotten to where I can't swallow a small sinus pill or even an Excedrin Migraine, and those aren't big at all. These calcium pills have a “slick” coating on them and they're very lightweight. They're very intimidating and I really had to work up my nerve to take one, but it went down super easy! I actually took 2 in a row with no problem at all. Not saying everyone can, but coming from someone who has real trouble swallowing pills….these are surprisingly easy to get down. I suggest to just try them. I know once opened you can't return them, but just don't think too much about it and go for it!

Not as pictured, actual tablet, pill, is much larger than shown on the bottle. Also potency not the same formulation as Citracal Petites. pay the extra and ensure what you are taking. Buy Citracal Petites over Equate brand when it comes to calcium citrate.
