I like the fact that it's cheap and do-able. It's messy like anyother foam spray. For finishing use more expensive, less messy spray. Also, I put a bit of Gorilla glue on the side of the male part of the spray nodule, then screw the spray apparatus on overnight then hopefully it wont leak or fall off while in use. It worked for Me.
This stuff saved me from having to call in a repair and wait, yadda yadda. I said, eff it -- I'll do it myself! I had a crack in the bathtub since some bright feller didn't put any support underneath 🤦♀️ long story short, this foam with the help of an extension of fish tank tubing did the trick! Sanded and covered the mess with the JB Weld waterproof putty. Easy Peasy! I've never used anything like this before, so if I can do it, so can you! I needed to extend the nozzle with tubing (with some tape to hold so it didn't blow off!), and thank goodness everything worked out great. Followed instructions to the T. Easy, straightforward. Incredibly helpful!!! I can take a shower and not worry about falling through the floor now! 🙏🛁
I needed the product for a project that needed to be completed quickly and know it would hold up for quite some time. I know Walmart has quality products!
Used along with steelwool to plug up gaps on ge outside of my house. Only wish I knew it a one use can. I had 1/2 a can left but once hardened was unable to use again. The foam comes out white , (which is what I required),but it dries yellow.
It's inexpensive, but it didn't flow evenly and therefore was difficult to use. I had to go over half the areas twice. This caused overspray and more cleanup. This wasn't a dealbreaker , but be prepared to do a little more work in exchange for the lower price.
You have to hold the can upside down to apply. No control over releasing foam. Suppose to be for gaps/cracks up to 1". Straw is too large to get into gab less than 1/2" so when depressing trigger foam goes mostly outside the crack. Created a large mess which, even after being immediately wiped off, still requires sanding %26 painting, not to mention the trimming of all the excess.
I've now worked with almost every available expanding foam in this category, the basic version in the 12oz size. I bought a lot because it was cheap and it did do the job, just not as well as any of the other brands. I find the quality of the mayerial one step down.
Don't purchase this item unless you plan on using the whole can at one time because once the straw gets blocked out you have to cut it off and then it dries up within the nozzle next and it won't come out so my advice is only use this can if you need a lot of repairs at the same time.
Totally worthless off-brand re-creation of the original product. GE brand is essentially the consistency of a sticky, gooey, heated marshmallow. The product was discolored and dripped like wet glue on everything despite following all directions completely. This product destroyed surfaces, floors, walls, window treatments, and everything it dripped all over. The supposed 12-oz shot out of the can fast, within a minute the can was empty and all that was left was a mess. The product is mostly adhesive and was impossible to clean up after it destroyed everything it dripped on.
Walmart strikes again … giving you used /return items. Sorry but I don't have anything to say about the product because it was used and arrived without a straw/ hose attachment
