This produces a solid cup of coffee. I've been drinking it for years now and found it to be a suitable replacement for the old “brown bag” 8 o'clock that has a cultish following, as that's harder to find now. Obviously small things like grinding just prior to use, allowing to bloom for a bit, and proper water ensure the taste is optimal. Most one star reviews have to do with packaging, which is easily resolved when you contact customer service.

l have tryed close to 6 different bag's of coffee beans and they where stale tasting or very bitter or overpriced. I'm trying Hills coffee beans and can say these are the most fresh, no bitter taste and very smooth taste. It is now my morning coffee.

Never get tired of this coffee

This is the go to coffee for waking up every day. Fresh ground and brewed in a French Press is the method I use to create a balanced cop of coffee that is never bitter and excellent served black.

I've ordered this coffee twice. The last time, I ordered two bags. One of the bags was the correct weight, but the other bag was only 24 ounces. It wasn't opened or cut in any way. Factory sealed. Said it was 32 ounces on the bag, but only 24 ounces of coffee beans. Just a "buyer beware" FYI. The coffee itself is actually quite good.

I tried this brand due to the recent scarcity of my usual 8 o'clock coffee. The coffee tastes fine, no complaints, but I cannot recommend this brand because of packaging. The top seal is fragile and easily opened prematurely. Also, one bag arrived with a side seam split open. Good coffee, bad packaging.

Weak. Almost no coffee taste. You don't get what you pay for.

They always send me decaffeinated coffee no matter how much I complain. I have 6 pounds of this coffee already.
