I love that these are "old school," still available, and easy to install. I purchased them for an acquaintance to quickly add extra security to the doors on a house she had recently purchased. All doors had obvious signs of someone tapering with them, trying to break-in while it was on the market for sale. Yes, we're sure they're not 100% foolproof but a criminal will definitely make more noise trying to enter. These chains seem well made, heavy %26 sturdy. Nevertheless, there are also other locks on the doors plus we're installing fencing, motion sensor lights, etc.

I love these! I was really looking for the 2 pack, but I got the single pack. Apparently, that's what our store had in stock. I went back, and BOUGHT another! They look nice, were easy to install, and really kept my home secure. Thank you.

Exactly what you think it looks like. Easy to install. However the provided screws are rather tiny and I ended up loosing one. An extra or two might not go amiss.

These are nice for the price and get the job done! We have a 3 year-old whom we need to keep from going into every room in the house--and she's defeated the toddler door-knob things.

Regular privacy chain door but bit pricey. If i buy from major ecommerce store - you can get in half the price

Mostly , things are great. My last order I did not receive the Perdue Harvest land chicken that I ordered and looks like I was charged for it. Y This has happened a couple of times but before that price was not that high so I let it go.

It serves its purpose for us because we just needed something to keep our 4 year old from opening the door and going outside. I would not say it is good for actual security, as it is not very strong.
