Exactly as described by vendor. Easy to fill and use - just be mindful that is not very easy to be cleaned so used only on potted plants using pre- packed, professional potting mix My lotus is now happier :D

I love these! They are inexpensive and work great. I got them originally last year so as to not disturb momma dove bird in my hanging basket %26 still keep the plant alive. They worked fantastic. They are plastic and one did break when I dropped it on a hard surface but what do you expect? They are pretty sturdy overall and light and inexpensive. If you have a plant that just loves a lot of water like a lantana these are wonderful. Works well on any plant.

Like the clear as easy to see water level. Placed in poinsettia and has lasted 2 weeks on one fill of water bulb.

Filling was difficult. I had to use a syringe to get the water in, otherwise it was taking forever to fill. The 12" size took just under 2 cups of water. I was hoping to be able to use it while on vacation, so I am putting it to the test early. I filled 1 globe about 24 hrs ago and it is already about 1/3 gone ... so it may only last 3 days. I was hoping for more as they stated it would water your plants "up to" 2 weeks. They are top heavy when full, so you have get them down in the plant and make sure you have a heavy enough planter. They are nice looking. There are no instructions. I'm not sure if there is a better way so not to use as much water as quickly.

I've found that while it does work, it tends to over water my plants. I have a pothos I tried it out on and it started guttation to get rid of the excess water.

My first try with this item. When filled it is heavy and can tip the plant. Even if placed in the center. The wet soil will let the ball fall to the side. In a larger plant it doesn't provide enough water. Not for me.

Filling them up was a hassle. I honestly didn't think it'd be so hard to fill but I was wrong. I had bought them as a last hope to water my plants while away. I wouldn't buy them again.

I was going out of town so I needed something to keep my plants from drying out since they needed to be watered daily. I soaked the soil beforehand, just like you are supposed to, but when I returned home, one of my plants was nearly dead. I bought several of these watering globes and placed them in multiple pots, but none of them released water. Fortunately, a few of the other plants managed to survive on their own.

I expected these globes to have holes in the top for ease of filling. It's very inconvenient to have to fill them through the narrow bottom tube and then insert them in the dirt.

I ordered the 12 inch globe planter and the one I got was 5 inches long. They sent the mini version instead. Very hard to get water in the globe.
