I like the product, but at pickup yesterday I found the cardboard box containing the plastic vials was crushed and torn in way that the saftey seal was broken. I decided to keep it because the seal was still hanging on by a thread and took a chance that the product was not tampered with. I hope that the delivery people will get this message and be more careful about not putting heavy articles on boxes like this.
I like the fact that this is an emulsion of oil because I have dry eyes the glands on my eyelids I think are not providing the lubrication that I needed and this product stays with you for quite a while after you put it in your eyes I put it in sometimes in the morning sometimes at night and don't have my eyes are feeling I do get a sense of relief
OcuSoft Retaine MGD is the best eye-drop on the market in my opinion for someone with blepharitis and Meibomian Gland Disfunction (MGD). It has made my life so much better. I use these drops in conjunction with cleansing my eyelids using OcuSoft foam cleanser in the pump bottle and OcuSoft Hypochlor spray. Nothing else worked for me before going on this regimen.
I love the product, however when I received my box, I didn't notice right away. someone had cut the bottom open and stole five of the eye drop viles out of the box. I only received 25 of the 30 I was supposed to receive. So I have no problem with the product, just the store itself.
I've been using OCuSOFT Retaine MGD Lubricant Eye Drops and have been very pleased with the results. These drops provide long-lasting relief for dry eyes, especially compared to standard artificial tears. The formula feels soothing and helps keep my eyes comfortable for hours without burning. I also like that they are preservative-free, which is important for sensitive eyes. The only downside is that they can cause slight blurriness right after use due to the oil-based formula, but it clears quickly. Overall, I find them very effective—especially for more persistent dryness or post-surgery eye care.
I have severe dry eye due to Sjogrens so I use eye drops several times a day. The Retaine eye drops are the k ly one Inhave found, both OTC and Rx, that do not leave my eye area sticky. The liquid is cloudy but it is formulated that way so don't be alarmed. I dropped one star because of the price. After tax, the box of 30 single use vials equals out to nearly $1 per vial. I will continue to buy and recommend the Retaine but I will definitely keep an eye out for a cheaper alternative.
I have Sjogren's Syndrome that causes my eyes to completely dry out!! I have tried everything to keep my eyes moist and not burn. These drops are preservative free and are especially for dry eyes. Almost all products burn my eyes when they're dry, but these don't. Also the drop last for several hours before having to reapply.. I highly recommend these, especially if you live in a dry climate like Arizona or stay at your computer for a length of time. But especially for Sjogren's syndrome. The pain is excruciating when they're dry. The manufacturer can't keep up with the demand because I have a hard time finding it all the time, but Walmart happened to have it on a limited supply.
I have been using this product for years. The product itself is good. However, I will not buy online for delivery again. When it arrived, the box inside the envelope had been opened and a vial was missing. I am afraid to use the rest of the product for fear that tampering has occurred. Live and learn. Next time, I will make a visit to store so I can inspect the package before purchasing.
Delivery was quick but when it came, I noticed the box was crushed a bit. Usually no big deal, but then I noticed the safety tape was broken which means it was opened and put back. I counted the amount inside and the amount was correct. With a product this expensive, I was kind of angry that it was resold opened. I thought they couldn't resell a health product with a broken seal. Disappointed.
I just purchased this product because my eyes are dry. I was disappointed when I put the drops in my eyes. The burning and cloudiness was immediate and I ran to the sink to rinse them out. I looked at the label and saw that it has mineral oils in the formula. Horrible! I'm returning it today.
