My dog has "dry eye" and this is perfect for overnight so she can sleep in comfort. Their artificial tears and Rx drops are for during the day to keep her eyes moist. I'm so glad this ointment is available for nights or even long car trips.

Refresh PM "OINTMENT" is what my eye doctor recommended! It is easy to use and really relieves my dry eyes. Since it is an ointment it will make sight blurry for a bit. So sit back and let it do its work. Walmart is the only place I could find it, and have it delivered.

My optometrist recommended the gel for night time, I had been using the glycerin drops at night for dry eyes due to the chap. She did warn me it would make vision blurry and that is correct. It is a blend of mineral oil and Vaseline in a tiny tube, it is very effective and does keep the eye from getting dry, it’s very easy to apply like the drops but can be problematic as it is difficult to wash away when you need to see clearly, especially close up. I’d still recommend it if the drops are not working for you.

The gel dispenses properly but it can be a little difficult putting the gel in the second eye since the first eye is a little blurry. I put them in right before bed since I don't want to deal with blurry eyes. But it is very soothing to the eyes.

Box always arrive beat up and smashed. Ointment is difficult to use. very stringy and won't stay in space between eyelid and eyeball. If it does stay where it is suppose to be it works. Very greasy, Drips out overnight onto face. Extremely expensive. Why does the regular Walmart not carry this? I musty always order online. If you order online you can NOT use manufacturer $4 coupons

I had been using drops, and it was not helping as i have very dry eyes. Had my doubts about it but it really helps with dry eyes, put it overnight cream outer area of eyelids. It is a bit greasy so next morning washing your face is recommended. The tube is small, but you don't need to put much to help it

This nighttime ointment is a lot of mineral oil. There are several other brands that are like this too. I can buy it when I want to save some money, but it gets used a lot quicker. Yes, I do understand the economics of that. Lately, nighttime eye ointment are getting away from the original white petroleum that is supposed to be the majority of the ointment.

My Opthalmologist suggested that I buy these drops or ointment rather because I suffer from chronic dry eye. I have to admit from using liquid saline type drops to using this oil base drop is a little offputting, but we shall see how it works over the long run. I woke up and the eye that I put it in seem to be fine. It wasn't dry wasn't irritated, but it is definitely a texture. I'm gonna have to get used to.

Refresh usually doesn't work for me, and in this case it was even worse. These jobs are thicker for not usage. But when I put them in my eyes it felt more like I was gluing my eyelid shut then getting the allergies and the dust out of my eyes. I can use refresh products, but not this one.
