I use this brand for making chicken quesadillas. Also goes good for chicken tacos or casserole. Started using when I needed to make gluten free chicken quesadillas for a new family member. Now I use for all kinds of recipes.
I love having this in my cupboard. The single packs on the shelf are for 1 lb of ground beef and I generally cook about 1.25 to 1.5 at a time so I use this to cover the difference.
great! you can use it on any meat, love it,use as much as you need to any thing, hambergers.sprinkle on to and cook, pasta any thing to give it a boost of flavor love it!
Just good value for seasoning that we use all the time to make tacos.. yes i know white people tacos !!!
we use this instead of the packets because you can add more to your liking; tastes great and worth the $
I was looking for a seasoning that wasn't over powering but traditional mex flavor. This was pretty close
the taco seasoning I used to get at Sam's, when I was a member, I can't get anymore and this is the closest
McCormick's taco seasoning has changed. It's got some extra filler like extra starch or something that ruined it and it is not the crisp, clean, bold taco seasoning it used to be no matter what the label says that it is original. It is not! Ortega is better, but something is slightly off. I will mix the two together in a bowl and add more Cumin. Both are 24 oz, but there is less McCormick as I used almost half of the 24 oz bottle.
I recommend buying the 24 oz Ortego get more for your dollar especially in these days with the inflation and everything else that is going on.This season taste good on ground beef especially if you making taco for your yourself or group of friends or your family it is full with flavor it is a must have in your pantry.
Very disappointed! Ortega products are usually pretty decent. But this product is absolutely tasteless! I had to add other seasonings to give flavor to my taco meat. This Was just a waste of money.
