Starts the motorcycle

This is just as good as other brands for less money. Same aerosol spray, same lid, same quality, same effect. You are literally burning your money.... its ok to be cheap lol

I will buy again

S May 9, 2026

I have a 30 year old, McLane edger. When it doesn't want to start, I use starting fluid to save my arm. *lol* It works great. I have bought extra cans. I gave a can to a neighbor. He uses it on his vintage cars when needed.

Start cold engine quick and easy

Sam February 5, 2026

Because of our latest round of cold and ice a lot of engines were hard to start. For instance my diesel tractor, riding mower, truck, ... Instead of cranking on them until they start and possible cause engine damage, I remembered how my dad used to do it. I whipped out the starter fluid and each started on the first try.

Great product,I will buy this over any other brand

Waxypineapples113 April 28, 2023

Me and a few undergrads in my chem class wanted to see how accurate the 50% diethyl ether claim was, we were pleasantly surprised, came in at %51.8 and the reason this is surprising is the percentages even on products SDSheets usually range about %20 higher or lower. So other brands we have tested their claims too and the brand that claimed %80 ether, one can was %71 and the other was %62, same exact brand and product, just 2 different cans. We tested 3 cans of this Super Tech and the percentages were all very close, one was %53.1, another was %50.4, and the third was %51.9. Incase anyone was wondering how we figure out the ether content, it’s all math you have to do based on the boiling point of the solvent mixture.

Use on diesel tractors, and backhoe.

Mjohnson January 16, 2025

Starting fluid, is starting fluid. I give it 5 stars, due to price, and effectiveness. I have found that this works just as well as the auto parts store specials, for one half of the price. I use it on my diesel tractor and my backhoe, both of which do not have preheaters, or glow plugs. But only in the very cold when needed. Sometimes I'll give a snort to a cold outdoor power engine if it's really cold and I need my log splitter.

repeat buyer

we buy like 10 cans of this every winter (cheapest, sprays and works fine) - nobody seems to be able to fix tractor being hard to start in cold....

My husband is a mechanic and works on our vehicles. He has me pick this up quite a bit on my shopping trip. It has several uses, and is always a staple in our home.
