(2 pack) Tasty Bite Mexican Style Protein Bowl, Plant Based All Natural Shelf-Stable, 8.8 oz

I read a bunch of mixed reviews, so I thought I’ve give my honest opinion! Size: when I first saw the size, I thought it wouldn’t be that much. It was WAY more than I thought. It filled me up very quickly and I’ve stayed full. Taste: I read a lot of reviews that it was bland. The bowl comes with a sauce packet (It says Mexican Vinaigrette) %26 it was very tasty! Honestly, that probably would’ve been enough for me….but I like to spice things up so I added in some salsa with the bowl and stirred in. It was very good! Hopefully this helps someone. It was very good, filling, and easy for someone who needs a quick %26 easy meal on the go — but can still watch what they eat!

I'm following the Mediterranean diet lifestyle now. I was seeking out something I could take to work for lunch. I spotted these and was a little hesitant but bought them anyway. when I first opened them up they look little on the unappetizing side. But hey, I got to eat better so I tossed it in the microwave for 60 seconds. Took it out, drizzled on the little dressing packet that it came with, then mixed it all up. My first bite was surprisingly delicious! I can't believe that this brown stuff that I had in this bowl could taste so good! It didn't seem like good enough portion, but after I was done eating I was actually okay for the rest of the day at work. we'll definitely be back again! Did I forgot to mention how delicious the stuff is?!

Love this protein bowl, it is a great tasting, healthy ingredient filled, convenient meal. It has 12g of protein, high fiber and is vegan. A satisfying portion that is ready in 60 seconds all cooked up in a BPA-Free microwavable bowl. I chose the Mexican Style bowl, the vinaigrette dressing that it comes with really makes it a unique, flavorful, delicious dish. Highly Recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Tasty Bite Mexican Protein Bowl is hearty! It is packed with beans, corn, red pepper, rice, and quinoa - all plant based protein. This bowl heats up in 60 seconds and then there is a citrus vinaigrette packet to pour on top. This adds a tangy twist that takes this bowl to the next level. It is convenient that this bowl does not require refrigeration, so I can easily keep a few in my office for those days when I don't have time to break for lunch. I really enjoyed this and recommend!

Not totally gross and better than expected. I tried this little meal because there was 75 cent cash back so why not. My expectations were LOW so if you have proper expectations about a microwave meal you won’t be disappointed. I added salt. I don’t know if it was supposed to be in the freezer or refrigerator or neither. My kid put it in the freezer. I moved it to the fridge but I don’t recall either being required.

A much smaller quantity than I expected for the price. Why are shelf-stable meals so much smaller than frozen meals? The taste was alright. The chickpeas were crunchy.

Genuinely, I felt quite healthy when eating this bowl. For me, the one downside is that this bowl is quite small in size. I did not feel thoroughly full after eating it.

It's smaller than I expected and I have taken a picture of it with a small lollipop so you guys can have the idea of its size. Taste is okay, I expected the dressing to be spicy with a hint of jalapeños but it actually has a little sweet taste so I added my own hot sauce and then it tasted better.

Rice was hard and the food was completely tasteless. Like eating cardboard.

All the protein bowls taste great EXCEPT the Thai style curry and rice. I tried so hard to give it a chance but I couldn't finish it. It was the most awful taste ever, like I was eating industrial strength cleaning solution or something. The other bowls are great, though.
