At almost 70 years old, I need something lightweight, and this trimmer is perfect for me. It worked flawlessly right out of the box! Never been let down by any of my B%26D tools and equipment!

no more extension cords
I love the trimmer, just used it for my hedges. I have other B&D products that use the same lithium battery so I didn't have to buy one for this trimmer. You will need the battery and charger if you don't have other products. I have the B&D pole trimmer and saw. I am happy with all of them. The pole saw came with a charger and battery. If you want to make your life easier get the 20V interchangeable battery tools. I am considering getting the flashlight.

I love this trimmer! It is lightweight and easy to use. The battery lasted well over 30 minutes and got my job done with one charge. I bought Black and Decker 20v yard tools and interchange the battery. Love my cordless yard tools...no more wires for me!

Great Hedger!
We already had the 20V battery(ies) from the weedeater and leaf blower from this Black and Decker collection so this was a perfect addition to the set. The 22" length hedger is great for getting the job done quickly, yet is fairly light so it's easy to wield. The battery lasts a long time (long enough for me to hedge, then put the same battery in the leaf blower to finish the job. It's a great value and so much easier with the battery than the hassle of an extension cord.

should of did this years ago... have trimmer as well purchased 2 extra batteries ...no more 100ft cord to wrestle...

Trimmer works as advertized.
The BD 20V Li Ion battery-powered hedge trimmer works better than I expected. Buyers should be aware that this model does not come with any battery; for those of us with other BD 20V tools and at least two batteries, this is of course not a problem. A fully-charged battery permits trimming of several large bushes with green (soft) limbs up to at least 1/2" dia.

It did not say that it didn't come with a battery pack or charger. you had to scroll to the bottom to read the fine print which said battery not included. I've never been more disappointed in a Black %26 Decker product.
