It works, I was able to open my BMW X5 after removing the battery and unintentionally locking all the doors and rear hatch. The kit has everything you need and is easy to use. I did watch a few videos, but I had the door unlocked in five minutes. my only complaint is the roud connectors are fluted (machined with grooves) to give you better grip when connecting multiple rods. The fluting did mark the inside of the door at the top due to turning the rod to grab the inner door handle. Easy fix, tape the fluted connectors, otherwise, the kit is good. the included bag makes it easy to keep all the tools together.
