i was optimistic but....
easy to use and understand when you download the app and connect it to the ob2 scanner. told me why my check engine light came on and what i needed to fix it. I did it check engine light went off and car runs just like when I bought it!!! so happy i got this scanner life saver money saver also. no guessing game....

The HyperTough **** works well and reasonably quickly to retrieve codes from the ECM. This compact tool is easy to stow in the vehicle and inexpensive enough to have one for every vehicle. With this information so conveniently available, the diagnostic process is a little more streamlined.

Worked for my simple needs
I needed an inexpensive scanner to clear error on my 2013 Ford Edge and this did the trick. I only needed to plug it into the port under steering wheel and then use the clear option on the scanner. So my needs were minimal but this did the trick.

Works great. I enjoy the capabilities of the scanner and the app feature as well. Its really easy to read and find out the codes for your vehicle. Highly recommend 👌

I have only used it one time on my daughter's car to see why her check engine light was on. The scanner gave me a faulty oil pressure sensor code. I haven't purchased one yet but from all the online searches I have done this will be the problem. I'm not totally familiar with it yet but it gave me a code and that's what I needed it to do.

great scanner
i needed an upgrade from my old innova code reader which needs a manual to look up the codes. I've tried a few different ones that I ended up returning. the hyper tough ht300 works the best for me. it connects easily, reads and scans with no problems.

Awesome tool
Works great had no problems with it. Download the app onto my phone. Very helpful. Tells you exactly what it needs. I recommend this to anybody.

Still waiting for my 51.00 credit because I used wrong card and cancelled it n repurchased it with the right card.

Super small. I ordered it online. I can hardly read words. It gave the same code for both vehicles and they have 2 different issues. One did have a bad thermostat. The other does not. I wouldn't buy it again. Waste of money.

this product does a few items but I would get a better quality one if you're going to do diagnostics on your automobile. check out YouTube video Walmart products are junk
