I finally broke down and found something that cuts a butter or margarine into nice equal patties. I haven't had them them one ever and I so appreciate what it does and helps with putting butter or margarine on vegetables or toast or what else you might like to put it on in a good proportion. it's well built and will probably last forever.

I was really impressed with how easy this made slicing cheese! the slices were pretty uniform. I used the large blocks of cheese and had to cut the block into 4 sticks first, but still saved a lot of time and energy. I noticed that is the stick of cheese was too long or wide the rounded edges smooshed the cheese, so you have to make sure to cut the pieces to fit within the widest part of the slicer. Still, its better than trying to cut with a knife. It felt sturdy and the wire seems to be tightly fitted. No wobble or loose wire. Sharp enough to cut through cheese with ease, but no danger to fingers. It came with 2 slicers, so Overall great value!

I absolutely love this item I love to entertain and serve cheese and I use this slice slice my cheese . my friends loved it they also purchase. it cuts through very easy and cleaning is easy just be careful because it is a little Sharp. I'm going to get my sister one for a stocking stuffer for Christmas

My sister wanted this cheese/butter slicer for Christmas and since it comes in a 2 pack i was able to keep one for myself. There was a little bit of a learning curve on using even pressure to go through the Colby cheese and to line it up straight so the butter pats were uniform. But once I figured it out it was smooth sailing. Plus you get even slices all the way to the end without worrying about a knife really close to your fingers. Definitely recommend.

This order came with two butter slicers. They make slicing the butter easy. I bought the two pack so I could rake one to camp. I would recommend this item.

I only needed one but the price was so great that I decided to go for the 2 pack. Unfortunately One of them has a flaw in the wire, so I won't be able to gift one as planned.

We do a lot of "dump" recipes that need sliced butter on top. This butter slicer made the job so much easier! One press through the butter and even slices! A 10 out of 10. This slicer rocks!!!

I would recommend this for use with butter but just not sure about cheese. On butter it is smooth and the slices are even the last and first slices are a little rounded but that does not affect the overall use. Great when making something like a dump cake.

It is a little difficult to use even for slicing butter as the end two slices are always messed up difficult to use, especially with people who have arthritis in their hands. However, it looks nice in the drawer.

it's too much of a hassle to return this item or I would because it's plated stainless steel not solid stainless steel. it almost looks like it's painted on. the wires are strong enough but the shape is so odd being an oval that you have to shape the cheese or butter or fruit for the device. there's two of them and I'm not sure why. I thought they work together but they don't.
