The cheese moves a lot when trying to cut. It doesn't slice as thin as I had wanted. It does good for really thick slices but I prefer thin slices.

This slicer is amazing! I purchased it to slice cheese and it is fantastic, no wires to break, perfect tool for cheese.

Cutting a block of cheese, which is dense, causes the blade to twist and turn, which makes it hard to cut a uniform and thin slice. I am wondering if a wire cutter would be better than the current blade which moves the cheese block. The metal block construction is nice if the item did not shift when cutting. It may work better for a smaller slice of cheese but strains with a block.
