Great if you need a good quality silicon lubricant for a more precise application.

Great lubricant
People complaining that there is no silicone reading the MSDS it has Polydimethylsiloxane, also known as dimethylpolysiloxane or dimethicone, belongs to a group of polymeric organosilicon compounds that are commonly referred to as silicones. So it has about 5% silicone by weight. There are many products research is key for the best product for your needs.

Unusual Use
I live in snow country and I have used Silicone to lube and coat shovels so that snow slides off easily. What a work saver. Just be sure to acclimate tool to outside temps before using.

it works very well on most items i have used it on
i am now using this product on my door rubber seal and door locks to stop them freezing up during this winter frosty spell. It is excellent for displacing water and moisture

good product
Not sure why there are so many 1star reviews. this product works great for general lubrication. I have used it on all my doors, and am incorporating it into my drawer slide projects. Easy to use and straight forward. Great product to keep stocked in your house. It seems people are rating this lower because they are mad its not 100% silicone, but it doesn't advertise that on the bottle.. Please don't let their reviews influence you negatively.
