these towels are great!! I purchase them to embroider on. I wash and dry first and there is minimal shrinking. The only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because every once in a while I get a towel with a flaw in it that I am not able to use. I have ordered 15 packs so far (and will order more) with 3 unusable towels,. I make gifts from them that's why I don't use the ones with flaws. If you are ordering to just use as is, it is an awesome towel

These are my go to for most embroidery. The weave is not as tight as I would like but for the price they work well. They are pretty stiff so i find it best not to prewash before embroidering if for a decorative use. I can embroider a more dense pattern than on the softer towels. They are hemmed very nicely, fairly well squared and the hanging loop is a plus. Our store is always sold out so it helps to order enough ahead of time.

Purchased to make holiday tea towels for family. The towels are large and thick, good quality. The description says "brown" for some reason, I would say they are ivory, not stark white but definitely not brown.
