The best banana bread i have ever made. i followed the directions which included 2 ripe bananas mixed in the mix. everyone who ate it absolutely loved it. i did not add chocolate chips to the bread recipe as i dont like chocolate. the topping included in the box was superb. itvwas moxed with a tblspn of butter and spread over the banana bread prior to baking. oh so good.

I love banana bread, and would much rather bake it myself than buy it not knowing what's in it, or how long it has sat there before I bought it. This mix from Duncan Hines is super easy, and makes great tasting banana bread. Just buy the ripe bananas, add the ingredients, pour into a pan and bake. Some of the best banana bread you can make. Plus, it is cross branded with Dolly Parton! I don't think she would risk her reputation by putting her name on something that's just good...

This is the best Banana Nut Bread I've ever used! I often take it to church and it's the first thing that's gone!

It's surprisingly good for a box mix. My kid loves it. I just follow the instructions, and add one whole diced up banana. It's a hit every time.

Tasty banana nut muffins and easy to make

My muffins were very moist and tasted like bananas. Nutty topping was good. Tasted great.

Yes, they're called banana nut muffins, but we thought that the nuts might be in a separate package in the box. That would allow the maker to add as much or as little nuts as they want, just like the streusel topping. With the nuts already mixed in the flour, it was a messy extra step to sift them out. Then we found more nuts in the streusel! That had to be sifted, too. Gee, they should call these banana mega-nut muffins! Once nut-free (the trace amounts of microscopic nuts or nut dust that sifts through is okay) the banana muffin mix was easy to make, just stir together the ingredients like any boxed mix. The box suggested adding chocolate chips, so that was good! The streusel and a few nuts can be sprinkled on to taste. We prefer jumbo muffins, so the box makes 6 of those, as opposed to 12 regular sized muffins. Like all of Dolly's baking mixes, the muffins were pretty tasty. They bake up soft and moist with a crunchy top because of the streusel, which adds an overall sweetness to the muffin. We'd recommend them. If you love nuts, prepare them as is. If you like some nuts in moderation, sorry you're going to have to sift them out. Maybe someday Duncan Hines will hear consumer comments and simply package the nuts separately. That's why we took off a point.

A bit disappointing for a product with Dolly's name. Main bread part was dry, using multiple mixes. Topping did not adhere well and could be better. Easy enough to bake. Average value.
