I use these in different ways. One being I use to hold index cards for my different packages of meats that I've broken down into food saver bags. I include the name date I purchased the item and the quantity example 6 wings, 4 boneless pork chops, 1 pound ground chuck meat. So when I cook I grab the oldest date first from my freezer. And when I get ready to use the plastic bag pulls easily from the frozen meat.

i love these for portioning bulk orders. it is incredibly helpful to have measurements right on the bag. i love them for nuts, dried fruit and other snacks that are good for a lunch box. i alao somwtimes make large batches of homemade pancake mix. i can portion the mix in these then when i am ready to use i add qater or milk, cut a corner and i can make a perfect short stack without a lot of clean up.

I use these to portion out my homemade dogfood and I love the measurement marks that guide me. I freeze any portions over 5 days (I usually make 3 weeks at a time) and these little bags keep just fine in the freezer. I would caution not to heat the food in these bags though as they may melt.

I love the square shape of these snack bags! They fit bendable round fans to keep in your purse or pocket, they hold candies, or anything that you can fit inside, and they fit perfectly over the top of my 16 oz. glasses to keep my juice from a powdered mix packet fresh in the fridge since I can't drink it all in one sitting.

I haven't found another brand that has this shape of baggies! I love it. It even has portion/volume lines on the bag, and even though I don't actually use those often, I love this bag for snacks for lunches!! Apple slices, baby carrots, even guacamole doesn't turn brown in here since I can squeeze all the air out! Love these bags, and I really hope they make them forever!!!

I buy GV gallon, quart and sandwich bags religiously. I always bought my favorite portion snack bags from a dollar store. They no longer carry and I was happy to see GV had the exact same size. Now all my bags are Great Value, including half gallon .

These are really high quality sealing durable snack bags!! Definitely reusable for dry snacks like nuts, etc. what's great is that they are slender and can fit almost anywhere, even your pants pocket! One time I forgot I had them in the blue Jean pants I was wearing! We have been repeat buyers of these a couple of times….they last, they are not thin at all and well made…including the seals!

I thought that this item was for the snack bags I had always used: a horizontal bag with the zipper on a long, horizontal edge. It could hold a small half sandwich. In order to use this particular bag some items can be cut into small pieces to fit. Thus opening is so small that it is very difficult to put items into the bag!

This new design with the blue top is cheaper, thinner and more flimsy than the previous ones I've ordered in the past. Even the print on the bag is half worn off. Please go back to the old quality and design. These are also harder to open because of how thin the plastic is.
