A great choice for easy cooking and healthy eating. Just rinse, soak beans about 16 hours, rinse again. The object of the bean game is to get them soft and tender. The basics are simple: Crock Pot = About 4 hours High Temp. Stovetop = Slow Boil, add water, repeat and stir occasionally. When tenderness is reached, add onions, celery, bell pepper, etc. Let simmer on med-low temp. Chop, cook, and prepare meats before adding (if you want some chew with your beans). Ham, shredded chicken, turkey, links, etc. Slow cook until you're happy with the texture, then season to taste.
I eat a lot of beans and these great northern beans are delicious. White beans are very healthy and I stocked up on them because of the price. The quality is excellent and I cooked them vegan style to make them even healthier. I am very pleased with these.
I've bought these beans for years for soup. I always check them out as I rinse them in a colander; there usually about half a dozen that are old/brown and I throw them away, but I don't remember ever finding a rock. I never soak them, they go right on the stove and are done in less than 3 hours.

Whether for dinners, parties, lunch, snacks or on the go camping, we get a lot of great eating with these beans. There are endless uses for beans. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to eat healthy and delicious dishes. These beans are a fantastic value for the price and versatility. They get and deserve 5 stars.
I always purchase this brand of northerns because of the price and quality. I've never had an issue. Our family loves Ham and Bean Soup in the winter months. Pair it up with some good old southern style cornbread baked in a cast iron skillet in the oven. You could also try GV Pinto Beans which most people from the South use. I just live with Northerners who didn't know that.
I ordered 10 package of lemonade and I only got four of them. I had an order of $300 or more I expected it could be right and it wasn't.
I soaked overnight and cooked them in my crockpot for the 1st time ever. They were delicious! I also added about one half can of chicken broth too....... Cooked 4 - 6 hours on high or until done....
I make bread and hummus with these beans. Since I'm allergic to gluten, these are a great alternative. They taste great and are a healthy addition to my diet.
Good quality beans!! Taste just as good as the brand name plus you can buy it a lot cheaper!! I highly recommend it
Great Northern White Beans are a staple in my house. Simple preparation. I do always check the beans for stones and bad beans. Generally find something only very rarely.
