The navy beans are really great. You can put ham bacon whichever you prefer but both they're really really good. For Thanksgiving for baked beans I made a whole 1 pound. I cooked them all night long in my crockpot then I dug them out with a strainer and put them in a dish with onions, a little more bacon, bacon, bits, and some mustard, some ketchup, salt and pepper, honey, little brown sugar and man.

These are one of my favorites, although I am hooked on Great Northern beans, we all need variety to keep it spicy! I have these Navy Beans in the crock right now. Why make it hard in a pinch, today I opted only for onion as a veg in the soup. Would be great just as baked beans as well. I add olive oil, S%26P, brown sugar, cumin, chili powder, Tabasco, brown mustard, a hint of vinegar, garlic powder, tumeric, touch of powdered ginger, and water, that is it and it is a simple filler. Beans are so affordable and what I call the perfect food, pintos are always in the cupboard here. I cut open the bag on the smaller bags like this across the top except an inch on one end and twist the bag and use the plastic ribbon left on top to tie it tightly. Hopefully a helpful hint, ha!

I would definitely recommend these navy beans to my friends and family. They area great quality beans and very healthy. Good for making homemade baked beans or navy bean soup. I enjoy these and they cook up perfectly. They are delicious and very healthy and a great price!

Beans are healthy, versatile and these Navy beans are delicious. Super easy to prepare, contain no sodium or other additives. They have a very long shelf life and are one of the best pantry items you can get. If you like beans, try these out, and find out all the ways you can add beans to your regular diet. They are good for you, taste fabulous and very economical. 5 stars from me.

We enjoyed these beans. I made in crockpot with fresh -spinach, garlic, shallots, carrots and celery. Cooked for 40 minutes in vegetable stock. Added salt, black pepper,Italian seasoning and some tomato paste. All purchases from Walmart. Delicious dinner! Will not disappoint- make to your liking.Mmm

Dry beans are a better value because you can control the sodium and are cheaper than buying canned. If I have time to prepare beans, this is the way to go. So far, they have been great and when sorting and rinsing before soaking overnight, there were only 2 or 3 bad beans to throw out. I only used 1/2 the bag for bean soup and it turned out great.

If you want a great low cost, easy preparation, wholesome meal, this is a must item to be added to your grocery list. Easy to cook in the slow cooker, add some onion and ham or bacon pieces for seasoning, a pan of cornbread and voila dinner is served!! Beans are such a great way of getting loads of protein without of a lot of preservatives that so many other foods have in them. Beans are an item that tastes the same "home cooking" taste you remember when you where a kid and brings that "home smell" back to your mind when they are cooking. They are just delicious! If you don't eat all of them the first meal, they taste better the next day or you can put them in the freezer to use a future day. Absolutely no waste with this item. It is a staple item that I always keep in the cupboard!!

Used these to make a "Grandma Browns baked beans" taste alike recipe since the brand is no longer available. It was worth the effort, these beans turned out outstanding!!!!

Navy Beans are healthy and taste is delicious. Price is low compared to other foods. I am getting ready for hyperinflation which is already here. One can eat healthy but no need to spend all your pay check on healthy food.
