Omgsh this salsa is so good! I will say, this is spicier than mild, it is more like medium. However, it's so good it's worth it. One of those salsa's that's addicting when you start eating it, partly because you know the heat will hit more when you stop lol. I'll definitely be buying this again though! Flavor is worth the heat!
My favorite spice flavor with mixed ingredients. Does not overwhelm your taste buds and is mixed just right to give you that mlld taste you want from a spicy add on. Works well with all snack foods, with french fries, chicken, cooked rice and cooked vegetables, etc. The texture is small mixed ingredients that digest easily. A must try when you need a light spicy add on topping that isn't to hot but taste great and comes in several flavors and three degrees of spicy flavors.
I may or may not be completely OBSESSED with the GV Peach %26 Pineapple Chipotle Salsa! I like a salsa that has a little sweetness to it without taking away from the flavor or spice levels, so trust me - I've tasted other brands of the GV one is out of stock and I come back loyally to my favorite GV version every time. It's definitely good with chips, if you just want a little snack. For me, I put it on so much! Scrambled eggs, chicken, beef, pork. I'm sure my husband thinks I'm cuckoo. The salsa doesn't have lot of kick but it has enough! The texture is similar to other salsas, but not watery at all.
I love this salsa. I use it not only as a salsa, but I will add it to soups, chili and stews. The flavor is outstanding. Sometimes, I will add beans, mushrooms, spinach and other healthy ingredients and spices to practically make it a "dipping dinner." If I get hungry between meals, I toast a low-fat tortilla and dip it in this salsa to tide me over. The salsa is a little bit spicy hot, but not enough to stop me from eating it. The only thing that could be done to make this salsa healthier is to not add sugar. It's a small amount of sugar that is added – true; nonetheless, excessive white sugar is one of the pitfalls of the American diet. Anyhow, the Great Value Peach %26 Pineapple Chipotle Salsa is economically priced and tastes great. I always keep a few on hand. Yum!
Oh my lord. I love this salsa so much. I had forgotten where I bought that pinapple mango salsa that I liked so much and I searched King Soopers in a couple of different stores in the big city where I live. I also searched online and I finally gave up and decided they must have discontinued it. Then one day I was in Walmart and I SAW IT. I was OVERJOYED! I had been confused about where I got it and forgotten that it was Great Value, not Kroger Private Selection. I'm so happy that it hasn't been discontinued. I will eat it with Tostitos just as a meal.
A major brand used to make a variety of salsa similar to this. It was fantastic. No longer available, unfortunately. Was looking for an alternative, so I thought I'd give this a shot. Glad I did, as this is really, really good. The combination of sweet and spicy is done right, with neither one overpowering the other. It's also nice and thick, so it goes a long way.
Thought I'd give this a try, and with the very first taste I WAS IN LOVE! For me you can't go wrong with this sweet and savory salsa, at first I was thinking where's the chipotle, and a few seconds later, there was that touch of heat. Not too spicy, although I do love spicy, but just the perfect amount of heat on the back end. In my mind you can't go wrong purchasing this salsa!
Awesome salsa that goes fabulous over fresh grilled Mahi or fish tacos with the lime crema and this salsa , absolutely delicious. Little bit of heat, but I grow my own Hot peppers for eating, so anything being "hot" or spicy, is all relative to me, I like snacking on fresh hot peppers, and this was nowhere near as hot as that, so, most people will do fine. The other few it hits hard, will still welcome a free sinus cleanse lol.
I generally love Great Value salsas and have tried most of them. I purchased this one after reading reviews. It is horrible. It is basically pureed. And after a few chips, I just had to toss it in the garbage. It makes me feel sick. Too spicy. Too hot. And the aftertaste is cloying. I suppose, a little added to cooking (maybe a meatloaf, or chili) would be fine. But to use it straight-up as a salsa with tortilla chips, ansolutely not. It's a shame because the other GV salsas are all excellent. Just, not this one!
this might be good for cooking some things honestly I don't know what because I'm not that advanced of a cooker but I will tell you this honestly there should be some kind of disclaimer not to buy this with a pack of burritos for the airfryer, a little sweet no it was really really sweet like the sweetest peaches you could imagine that didn't favor well with dipping it with frozen air fryer burritos, bleh!
