I have tried a lot of prefab green chili salsas over the years, and this is my favorite thus far. The tomatillo flavor is front and centre, the acidity is nicely balanced, and the heat is there but not in your face. It is also relatively inexpensive compared to its name brand competition. Honestly, I would be willing to pay much more for it.

What a really great verde for a store bought! My personal favorite is a verde sauce, salsa. Top eggs, beans, add to a pork boil and make a chile verde, yes, lots of other additions, but it's a quick cheat to make a hearty meal. Burritos, nachos, anything. This isn't super spicy, but it's great for a base and you can add super hot if you need it to your portion, but it's mild enough for virtually anyone. I will continue to purchase this for our family and to have on hand, it's a good value and has great flavor.

This is great tasting salsa that doesn't take away from the food you are eating. A lot of salsas suffer from over powering the flavor of the food you are eating so the only thing you can taste is the salsa and nothing else. This salsa is a nice compliment to whatever it is you are eating. I've never had an issue with this salsa. My favorite way of eating it is with eggs in the morning. On occasion I will dip a cheese stick in it. Nice little compliment to a snack. Anyway, this is my favorite salsa that one can get at a store. Always go home made but when you can't, go buy this.

I like this salsa verde. Doesn’t have a sour taste, just like at a restaurant. Perfect for nachos or on a side with chips. Nice heat not to hot.could also use as an ingredient in beans, salads or add chicken and have a quick salsa verde chicken.

This is the best tasting and best textured store bought salsa verde I have ever had and I've tried my fair share over the years. An old friend use to make homemade salsa verde and this one reminds me of the one she made. Great stuff! She's past on some years ago, so this is the best I can do. Its thick, fresh tasting and priced just right. Some big brand names on the market, like Hernandez, are very thin texture and taste horrible. Watery comes to mind. La Victoria salsa verde is not bad, but Great Value Salsa Verde beats it, hands down. Get it if you can, cause it sells out quickly. Also, stay away from Picante brand salsa verde. Its a loser too.

I found a recipe that required this much salsa verde, so I tried it and the recipe. It was an instant hit and is now on the regular meal schedule. A family size pack of chicken, 1 can each corn and black beans, both drained and the salsa. Crock Pot it. When the chicken is ready to shred, toss a package of cream cheese in and add the chicken back in. Done. Great for burritos, tacos and whatever you want. It's great by itself and this is exactly the medium salsa verde I was looking for.

I was born and raised in Arizona...and this is the closest to home made green salsa you will ever find...and for the pricing. Absolutely perfect mix and just the right medium heat... I would tell Great Value to do not change anything in the recipe...perfect...

Another excellent Great Value product! I spoon it over air fried burritos for a cheat meal that satisfies.

This salsa’s awesome, tomatillo flavor with just the right kick. Smooth texture, fresh herb notes, and perfect for tostadas, chips, tacos, or drizzling on stuff. Great taste for the price.
