3DS XL System

Pretty blown away with my first few games, i got this with a bundle from walmart with a case, stylus, and a game, though none of that was the deciding factor. The 3ds is awesome graphically and I continue to use it nearly every day. I cant wait for some of the newer games. Would highly recommend this to RPG fans or anime rpg fans or fans of mario, or nintendo franchise games. Need to get a circle pad pro for this bad boy to make it complete though. Its visually amazing, way above expectations. I only have one complaint and i guess its the only complaint is the screen 'breaks' its picture if you angle it which can be annoying. However, once you figure that out and how to hold it, it doesn't really matter.

Purchased it for my 10 year old at walmart.com. He has a Nintendo DS since 2009 but wanted to upgrade to 3 DS XL - has a larger screen, a camera and additional features. I reserached the price on amazon, gamaestop, and bestbuy. Bestbuy and gamestop offer a trade-in towards a new console purchase. None of the options beat walmart.com price. It came as a bundle, so we got a starter game to go with it. Very pleased with the product. No hassle purchase and shipping.

Purchased this for my teenage daughter. She chose the black version rather than the Yoshi version my younger son picked. The finish is more of matte black, unlike the shiny black of some of the older versions of ds. Overall very pleased, Walmart had the best deal by far with a $40 gift card and Mario game case. We were all very happy with this purchase.

My daughter loves it. So I love it. She is thrilled about this DS- she's never had one before and im glad we awaited for her 8th birthday so she appreciates it and takes care of it. Her favorite game is Animal Crossing New Leaf and it's hilarious. Really fun game. I had a university student tell me he loves that game so really is a game that will grow with her...

I have been a gamer as far as I can remember. NES, SNES, Sega, 3DO (Yes, 3DO), N64, DreamCast... on and on and on. I most recently purchased a PS4 and got a Vita with it. The Vita went unused most of the time so I thought I'd switch to Nintendo for my handheld gaming. Best decision I've made in recent memory! The XL screen is a welcome bump in size. The 3D effect works great; I was really surprised. Battery life is really great as well. Most games are $30-$40, which isn't bad. But there's a huge back-log of 3DS and DS games that can be purchased for pennies on the dollar. Great system and would recommend for anyone between the ages of 5 and 55!

Love this thing. I've been wanting it for a while now but I haven't been sure whether or not I should get it. It was on sale for 169.99 one day, so I decided it was a good time. I just started my pokemon Y adventure. I feel like a kid again! Haha I played for 10 hours STRAIGHT.. I have a problem! And the 3D effect is impressive, never experienced anything quite like it. Great console, great games, great price, and exceeded expectations.

I had heard a lot of the hype surrounding the Nintendo 3DS and all the amazing games that it has to offer. I had borrowed a regular 3DS from a friend and thought that it was a bit small and not quite as comfortable to hold for more than an hour at a time. When I opened the box and turned on the 3DS XL, I knew I had something special. The larger size fits perfectly in my hands and doesn't tire them out due to an awkward size. The system has a good battery life; it will last about a day and a half of non-stop play, which is good if you ask me. The 3D capabilities are fantastic and easy on the eyes. The Nintendo e-shop that is accessible has so many options to purchase and download new games to play. 10/10 would definitely buy again if I had to. If you're on the fence about this product, I would recommend this more than any other handheld gaming system on the market.

Son has been begging me for a 3ds for over a year. The bugging became worse when pokemon x and y came out. I took my time and decided on the 3ds xl although he only wanted a regular sized 3ds. I used walmarts holiday layaway to purchase this which allowed a cash strapped person buy an excellent xmas present. The 3ds xl has passed with flying colors. Son has decided the xl is bigger and better then the regular 3ds easier to see and hold onto. And the black color ensures that when he's finished with it the system will be able to be passed down to girl cousins with no hassle over color. Only complaint is that regardless of place of purchase the price is basically the same everywhere.

I really enjoy my Nintendo 3ds xl. If you watch the prices for it you can end up getting the device for a really low price. I found this system for $169.99, which is a great price considering it usually costs $199.99 or higher. What made this even better is Walmart's price check. Two days after I purchased this item Walmart dropped the price even more, to $149.99. Walmart customer service quickly refunded me the difference in price with no questions asked. They have great customer service. The device itself is really fun in my opinion, not just for kids but for me, a college student. It allows me to play games between classes or whenever I'm bored. The battery life surprised me as well, it lasts for a long time. I played constantly for over 10 hours straight without needing to charge the battery, with wifi being turned on and off multiple times, something the PS vita could never do, and it even cost fifty dollars less than the PlayStation vita. I cannot speak highly enough for this device.

It works very well. I suggest having an internet outlet for it. It plays DS games as well as the 3DS games. My only complaint would be that it's kind of expensive and that it has a glare. If you aren't used to the 3D it is hard to adjust to. Overall though I liked it.
