Been using Dial yellow bar soap for fifty years. it's my definite"Go to" when shopping for bath soap 🧼😀
I recently bought the multi-pack of Dial Soap, and noticed that it's now even THINNER in the middle than it has ever been. NOW it only lasts a week (using it only on myself) before it gets so thin in the middle of the bar that it breaks in half. I LOVE the smell of the soap and how I feel when I get out of the shower, but unfortunately have to discontinue buying Dial Soap since it breaks in half so easily. I tolerated the first time when the Henkel Corporation made Dial Soap thinner in the middle (easier to hold?). After a week of daily uses it snaps in half and I have 2 big globs of soap that are useless unless I squeeze them together to make a mini-thick bar of soap. I would rather pay MORE for Dial Soap and keep it thicker, full sized like it used to be (YES I remember). I will find an alternate anti-bacterial soap until Dial smartens up and makes it full size again. Too bad, since I grew up on Dial Soap...and I love the clean smell!
I am very dissapointed now with Dial Soap. I don't know if you have changed the ingrediants or not. I have been using Dial for upteen years now. One of the main reasons is because I got to use the total bars. It would stick to the new bar so I was not wasting any. First you changed the size smaller and now it doesn't stick. I am now wasting money on it.
I use this as my hand soap. It sits in a draining dish but has expanded to twice the size. It is becoming softer. I've never had this happen with soap
I've used Dial bar soap my entire adult life (I am 65). I am very disappointed in that it's formula has changed greatly. It seems like a lot of cheap glycerin has been added to this soap. If I wanted glycerin soap, I would have purchased it. As the bar gets smaller (and it gets small VERY fast) it becomes transparent. . . you can see right through it. It doesn't lather like it used to and doesn't smell good like it used to. It's been cheapened, all for the company's bottom line. How did you think we wouldn't notice?
I bought 3,12 of packs of dial soap. It's not the same go back to the old one. This soap broke me out. I got bumps and rash all over me. I can't use the fragrance dial soap. I need the old one without the fragrance in it I need to know who's going to pay me my money back why sure, I have to pay for something that y'all are Yes, experiments with
I hate this reformulated Dial bar soap. Please bring back the old Dial Gold. I've been using it since I was 14 because of skin itching, almost 60 years. The new Dial Advanced Clean has a most disagreeable odor and is horrible for my skin. I bought a package unknowingly of the changed product and threw it away. You have lost a long time user of all your soaps. I was faithful. Why weren't you?
Whatever the formula change was that happened in the last few months, the new version is a massive step in the wrong direction. I have broken out in Dermatitis rashes in multiple spots due to this new formula, it leaves a very thick white residue on everything the suds touch, and it smells nothing like the old gold bar (the new scent does not smell nice either). Please do something to move back closer to what Gold Dial has been in the past!
Our family has used Dial soap forever! My favorite is the gold bar but something has happened to this wonderful soap. It doesn't smell like it used to and I've stopped buying it and tri tried it again. Thought I got a bad batch but apparently you've changed something. The white bar doesn't even smell the same, what has happened to my Dial soap!!! I won't buy it again. I've actually calls and expressed my disappointment but it's still the saddest soap, please fix it.
I've been using Gold Dial for many years and the new formula is TERRIBLE. The soap gets mushy after just a few uses and then dissolves quickly. It feels terrible on your skin. Please go back to the old formulation. You stood out before, and now you're just like all of the rest. What brilliant person decided to change a 100+ year successful product??
