Saved my fingers! If you have Osteoarthritis then you understand the pain. Just a slight touch of your fingers sends excruciating pain. The pain is like stubbing your toe, but every time you touch something. I can't even write without the pain. My job consists of typing on a keyboard. I have tried several tapes from kinetic to waterproof bandaids. This has always worked for me. Yes, I would remove it at the end of the day for my fingers to breathe and it would look like it's gone through things as I wash hands throughout the day. But I go back to this. The value for the yards you get with waterproof is worth it. Placing the tape… Ensure your skin is dry no oils or lotion. For first use don't make it so tight until you get used to it and once you have the tape around your fingers slightly squeeze to give the tape the final grasp.
It holds pretty well although sometimes it lacks the toughness when I need it tight for a long period of time. It's just a hair under par but I just use a little longer piece. They used to stick harder (other companies tape) but then they'd leave residue on the skin. It is nice that it never threatens to take a bit of your skin when you take it off. You have to have dried skin to stick but it sticks to other surfaces extremely well. But then it's medical tape and not builder's tape.
It's very narrow and, I think, better suited to bandaging fingers and the like. It sticks really well, though. Unfortunately I may be allergic to it... I had some kind of reaction that poofed up my skin and made me really itchy even a few days after the tape was removed. It's really waterproof, though. I would try not to leave it too long in case of a reaction. I used it with gauze on a large booboo that may have been an infected spider bite. I usually use paper tape or a different kind of waterproof tape that I think doesn't poof me up so much.
It's the sort of item that is needed but not one that gets center stage, so to speak. Nonetheless, it was useful and did what I needed to have done with it.
this adhesive tape would not stick. must have been why it was on sale. I had to get a refund and return. I used four pieces on my bandage and the bandage fell off. I feel the tape must have been quite old and the sticky glue no longer worked.
Tape does not stick down well. Definitely not waterproof. It too easily unrolls and detaches itself at the first hit of moisture. I would not recommend. Look for a different product. If you want long lasting. This product isn't it. A bit of antibiotic ointment got on the adhesive side and not just the one spot but the entire strip of tape went limp and un-attached
I don't know if this was tampered with by the delivery person, but the top is loose and doesn't stay on. It looks like it's been opened and some of it was taken before it arrived.
Attempted to use this to fasten a bandage to my arm but it's so thin and the tackiness isn't very strong. It does hold up well in the shower, but I would encourage you to get something a little wider at a minimum. A half inch width just isn't enough for anything more than tiny bandages and at that point I'd just use a bandaid.
This tape is NOT waterproof. It started coming off even before I got in the shower. I got this to put over my continuous glucose monitor because the overpatches they give you are worthless, too. This tape isn't doing much better. I will try to use it up since I'm handicapped and cannot return things easily to the store. I will try another brand next time. Don't waste your money.
The tape did not stick to my skin, totally disappointed. Never had a chance to see if it would stick in the shower. For me it was a total waste of money.
