(4 pack) Keystone All Natural Turkey, 28 oz Can

I tried the Keystone roast beef and liked it now I've tried the turkey. First off, don't be fooled by the 28 oz can because once you open it you're going to get turkey smooshed together in water. When I tasted it it was so dry it took some moisture out of my tongue! I think maybe leaving the juice in and once you're done cooking it then drain the juice would make it moist. What I did, though, was made a turkey pot pie w/o the crust. I would've added the crust or topped it with biscuits but this was an experiment and I didn't want to butcher this meal. So I added two cans of peas and carrots and two cans of cream of chicken soup. That was a little oops moment because there was chunks of chicken but honestly you couldn't tell the difference. I blended rice with this because it's the way my stepmother always made the family's pot pie and I've eaten my pot pies this way ever since. Since it's just me I was able to get more than 5 days out of this but I invited my brother-in-law to be the guinea pig to try this. He don't care for left overs but came back to my home the next day to get more so I was able to get 4 days out of it. If you use the turkey by itself you're going to need more than two cans. I ended up ordering two more of these and the roast beef but a word of caution: Walmart will send dented cans. I had to exchange one can that was dented at the top of the can which would've been hard to open and the other can's bottom was puffy which I thought would probably burst. This turkey is perfect for Thanksgiving. If you wanted to make a turkey stuffing this would work. I most definitely will be buying more of these as long as Walmart keeps selling them.

This is the best canned turkey ever! All other suck just saying this tastes great great for many dishes or just buy itself great for end times if that's ur intent let's hope we never see that u get bang for ur buck to I buy every month blessings to all who read this

this turkey is a great addition to my pantry. It's already cooked so it can be used straight from the can for any turkey recipe such as turkey and noodles, turkey potpie, or turkey sandwiches. Taste is great. Only two ingredients; turkey and sea salt.

I've tried the Keystone ground beef, beef and now the turkey . All are good however the turkey is my favorite. The flavor is excellent! They especially work well with casserole recipes. Will update my review after I try the chicken. Highly recommend!

I was hesitant to order based on some of the reviews regarding dented cans received. But, on the flip side, I was ready to order based on the positive reviews regarding the taste. I am glad I ordered this canned turkey and because of the quality, taste and the packing and shipping, as a prepper I will definitely order AGAIN!

No Modified Corn Starch nor anything else in this real chunk meat. Drain, but don't squeeze the natural juices out to enjoy a moist experience. I squeezed the first few cans like a can of tuna & it's just a little dry is all, nothing unnatural just beautifully clean & natural stuff. Half a can is sufficient for most meals or family setups.

Worst shipping from Walmart...EVER. Love the Keystone Meats but I never in a million years expected Walmart to ship anything the way this was shipped. Box was 3 times what it needed to be, no packing inside the box and now my cans are all bent. Do you not have a supervisor in the shipping dept. that oversees what folks do or don't do? This is below anything I have ever had shipped to me from Walmart. Thinking maybe it may be best to go directly to Keystone Meats and have this sent directly to me from them. I ordered from Keystone a few weeks ago and not one thing was damaged or bent in their box. Perfect! Shipping maybe faster from Walmart but the items I received in this shipment are all damaged. NOT up to your normal standards Walmart. You can see in the picture just how bad the cans are dented.

Walmart insists on packing the "4 packs" of Keystone canned Turkey as loose individual cans. They bounce around in your delivery box and get dented. Some severely. Bits of paper or a few plastic bubbles are not nearly enough interrnal packing to prevent this. Dented cans cannot be consumed and certainly do not store for years... the whole purtpose of the canned meat. There are ways to avoid this. What a hassle, Wal Mart!
