Perfect for big pools; those wanting to keep their saltwater pool open all year long %26 use as a chlorine pool. I'm from NW Georgia, I can run my pool as a chlorine pool with this floater. ( saltwater chlorine generator halts when water is cold) I've had floater in for three weeks now %26 most of the 3tablets are still there %26 pool is sparkling! By not opening and closing my pool, I saved myself $1000
This thing is sturdy built for what it is. I am really pleased with how it is made a lot of these things are not built with much durability in mind. I seen this one and it looked like it would be built good and I was correct. I would recommend this if your are in the market for a new flotation dispenser.
Large easy to access vessel for chlorine tabs. Holds multiple 3 inch tabs.
Very nice product. Seems to be well made and floats well in the pool. We'll see how long it lasts in the FL sun. Most of the less expensive floaters I have purchased last about a year before the plastic get brittle from the UV. We will see how long this one lasts.
The reason. for my lower rating is for their lack of customer service. I like the floater, except the adjustable openings/slots that allow for the chlorine to dispense have an issue. They do not stay where they are set. I open the slots fully for maximum chlorine dispense and by the next day they have closed by at least 50%. I emailed customer service immediately (the second day I had the floater in the pool) and have NEVER received a response from them. It appears to be of quality construction, so I don't know why the adjustable ring spins so easily and does not stay in place.
There is something wrong with this chlorine floater. The slots will not stay open for the chlorine tablets to dispense in my small 10,000 gallon pool. I have had chlorine floaters over the past 40 years and they never had this problem.
