I bought this glue to put a glass candle stick that had broken back together. The candle stick has a wavy stem and I had previously tried super glue but it didn't hold. This glue held immediately and is still holding. Seems to be everything it claims to be!
it works great if you can get the light on the glue to work its magic.
I was able to repair a glass bowl that had shattered into several pieces.
I love this stuff! I was able to fix my porcelain tea set and it worked wonders, much better than other glues that take forever to dry...also used on other things and it worked great for me...as long as you use the blacklight on it to dry the glue it dries super fast literally within seconds, will buy again
I am a jewelry designer and maker. I ordered this stuff looking for a more bonded or stronger adhesive. I am always on the hunt for a better product since I need use different mediums to create my jewelry. I was disappointed at first, realizing the uv light needs to be in contact with the product to work. I didn't give up; this adhesive reminded me of a similar uv reactive product used for Gel Nails. I found so many other ways to use 5 second fix! I am so impressed with everything that it does work on! Nothing, absolutely nothing has become un-bonded that I have been able to use it on. I will continue to order 5 second fix.
I tried this product on a couple of broken items and it did not hold any of them completely. So I would not recommend this product. I returned the unused portion back to Walmart. Bottom line this stuff is junk.
It didn't glue anything I put it on. The light needs to be able to get to the glue in order for it to work, but the idea behind glueing two things together is that you can't see inside the break anymore. So ultimately useless.
I only say poor because I don't think it liked being shipped. The glue or whatever you call it had excaped and was on the packing. The thing that was suppose to seal the glue would not work at all. Sorry
It works for the first 2-3 minutes then it's very weak and you can remove it, bend it, break it with you fingers, don't waste your money. I had to use an epoxy to fix it.
This stuff does not work as shown on TV. I used it on mine and my wife's glasses. It took three tries to get it to set. It never hardened completely. It was a temporary fix, at best. If you want to waste your money, don't waste it on this stuff. Buy a lottery ticket, instead.
