Pleasantly surprised. I was thinking this was going to give me the same coverage and dull shine as the others. I was way off the mark. This was amazingly glass like and made my 16x20 painting look like it was behind glass. I almost cried at how amazing it made my artwork look. I gave that painting to my mom and she was stunned. I would totally use it again and recommend to anyone that walked close to me. Love, love, love it. It puts every other spray to shame. There is no comparison. I am now spoiled for any other spray. My husband wants to steal my remaining spray cans for his auto part projects. Drying is super fast. Cover is even. Nozzle is easy to use. Finish is thick.
Best protective clear coat especially since we live in the desert. Re-coat every 2 years to keep the colors vibrant and alive on metal, ceramic or plastic. Usually date on the back of my project so I can remember the years gone by. Desert sun is brutal so this works extremely well for the sun kissed desert. Worth the buy.
I painted rocks and used this to glaze over and protect. Did this project last August and it's almost March and we've had 2 snow storms. Rocks still look shiny and great. This protector holds up.
I keep this around all the time for touch ups on wreaths, shadow boxes, pine cones, acorns, even leaves. It keeps live clippings looking fresh for months. It goes quickly around any holiday; so I keep stocked up.
Found out about this in better homes and garden magazine last year. I've been using it on cement, statues outside floral arrangements for the outside. Used it on metal table for the outside so so many uses on my third key now everyone should try it. My friends are all using it now.
Clear, Rust-Oleum Specialty Gloss Triple Thick Glaze Spray- 12 oz is exactly what I needed. It sprays on nicely with no runs. Dried super quick. I used it on my mailbox after I painted it. You wouldn't even know it was there. I have never had an issue with any Rust-Oleum products. The price was right too.
The Rust-Oleum Specialty Gloss Triple Thick Glaze Spray Paint does what it's designed to do, but with a few trade-offs worth considering. The main benefit is the high-gloss, thick finish it provides. It can give projects a smooth, glass-like shine in fewer coats compared to standard clear sprays, which is convenient if you're trying to speed up a project. The coverage is fairly even as long as you apply it carefully. However, the “triple thick” aspect can be a bit tricky. It's easy to over-apply, which may lead to drips or longer drying times if you're not used to working with heavier sprays. Following light, controlled passes is important to get the best results. Drying time can feel slower than expected, especially in humid conditions. The spray nozzle works fine, though it doesn't stand out compared to similar products. The finish is durable once fully cured, but it may take patience to get there.
less odor than others and faster to dry than expected. my only issue was in the nozzle which was misaligned and the straw broken in one of the 2 cans purchased. However, i trust Walmart: they have never failed in make any issue right.
i get that this is supposed to be really thick and that's not the issue, the issue is that it runs bad, other products are better. and it leaves a yellow tint when it dries. so disappointed
I ordered and paid over $12 for the 2-pk: (2 pack) Clear, Rust-Oleum Specialty Gloss Triple Thick Glaze Spray Paint-301416, 12 oz. I WANT THE 2-PACK THAT I PAID FOR.
