(6 pack) Stokes Green Chile Sauce with Pork, Mild, 15 oz Can

I have been trying to find this since I moved to Houston. I checked eBay and found it for some astronomical amount, so I thought I was out of luck. On a whim I checked the Walmart app and found it at a realistic price so I ordered it expecting to get "out of stock “ message, instead I was pleasantly surprised to actually get it.

Even though I make my own green chili, I use a lot of this chili for adding to my breakfast burritos and breakfast tacos. The flavor is very good, and the spice amount is just right. It adds just enough moisture to my breakfast burritos without being watery. I usually buy the one with the pork and jalapeno peppers, but that one shown as unavailable.

I have been using this as my base for green chili "stew" for over 40 years. Still use it at least twice a year. Has to have some meat and pintos to make it work. Sometimes hard to find in the store. Thanks Stoke's!

I've been eating this like soup and absolutely loving it for 50 years now. Also over burritos, with carnitas, etc. I'm really glad it's finally available at a somewhat reasonable price, but I really wish they'd sell it by the individual can!

Delicious on burritos or baked potatoes or as a dip. Mild heat doesn't burn, just adds some zip. Always a can in my pantry!

Stokes Green Chili is delicious and actually versatile. I've used an entire can in my crockpot with pork ribs, boneless or with bone. The pork get very tender plus flavorful with this Chile. Another way I use it is over brown or white rice. Just cook the rice and heat the chili then combine. It's also great over scrambled eggs.

Great for smothered burritos.

I wouldn't want it on a dinner Burrito, but my family likes it on eggs, especially on Breakfast egg and potato Burritos. It's very convenient to keep a can on standby in my pantry.

I'd rather have the Stokes Green Chile Sauce with Pork and Jalapenos, but this is still good chile sauce for my burrito. Just looking for the extra jalapeno kick. Wal-Mart hasn't had it in months. Maybe their purchaser should stop playing solitaire and do some work. Amazon has it but is gouging at more than twice the price, and Stokes doesn't sell from their website anymore.
